April's Blog

30.04.2008 16.00

Hi!

It’s been long time since I last wrote to you and I know being busy is not an excuse… but what else can I say?

I just came back from London; it’s already the second time in April I been there for a week week to promote my new single, You & I, which is out on Monday! It’s been a pretty interesting time for me, I recorded interviews with GMTV, Reuters News and BBC News 24. You can watch the GMTV clip here and as soon as we receive the video for Reuters & News 24, my online team will add them to my You Tube channel.

And at the beginning of April I recorded interviews on Nuts TV and Living TV, you can watch them both on my You Tube Channel. If you missed them, check them out here!

So, this week my promotional trip brought me to Manchester where I performed live and gave an interview on the morning show on Channel M. I love the presenters there – they were a really sweet couple with a great attitude and we're really interested in my story. I love when people know even little bit of the interviewee's background before an interview and they had done great job… I was pleasantly surprised, I must say.

After Manchester I visited my adorable friend from Liverpool RadioBilly Butler who is just an amazing person. I had a great interview with Billy and a live performance as well, as they have very good piano in Radio Merseyside. You know, it's such a pleasure to talk to somebody who really knows about music and enjoys your work like Billy does!

I spent the whole day in Liverpool, I really like the city. Right in the city centre there's a wide main street and great shops. It's a beautiful city. Well, there’s construction works everywhere – the whole city looks like a big building site right now…but I bet it’s because Liverpool is the Capital of Culture this year but apart from the building work, Liverpool is very nice.

Then, I had another interview with Alan Thompson from BBC Radio Wales. I have visited his show before and he is a great chap and I enjoyed the interview a lot.  On Wednesday morning, I visited the Estonian Embassy where BBC News 24 interviewed me for the show, Entertainment 24. The interview will broadcast this weekend, here's the times, hope you can watch it! Saturday 1045 & 1745. Sunday 1745 & 2145

So, things moving are along in a very positive way and I feel great about that.

Unfortunately it was awful weather this time in the UK, raining every day and quite cold as well but luckily we have an amazingly warm weather in Estonia, so I’m going out to do some sunbathing.

I hope you have a great weekend with sun and happy moments!

With love,
Hannah
