Summary of the year 2006

2006 was an extremely interesting year. I did a lot of work and the results will come this year – so it was preparation for 2007. I met so many interesting people who have given me enormous ideas and joy and I’m so glad that I had the chance to work with them all.
At the beginning of last year I met (again over many years) my good friend and my guiding light Krista who is a reflexologist and who has changed my life so much. Thanks to her I’ve understood many thing in life and she opened my eyes to see things differently. I feel that I have a mission to give energy to people and to teach them how to find support from angels.
January until April was a very creative time when I wrote many new great songs and after meeting Brian in June, the decision was clear – July and August will be busy in the studio.
The next person I met was James McMillan who has a great talent as a producer and songwriter and who is, as a person, quite difficult to handle (as I have heard). But, funny enough, we made a perfect match and I’m very proud with the result of our work together.
However, I'm happy that I've had a chance to spend enough time in my second home in Cannes. This is a perfect place to relax.
Well, the record is almost finished and I had a successful photo-session in London and life brought to me another great man – photographer Simon Fowler.
I really admire his way of working!
And until October it has been preparation time for album launch. I had lots of meetings with promotional people and we searched the best way to release the album. As the record-market has changed so much, we felt, that it’s better to do everything right and not to rush. I am very happy that I’m involved with the preparations and so called back-stage things, because then I can really but my heart into that project and I think it is the most important thing if you want to be an artist who touches listener’s soul. I also see how much my team has done for me and I really appreciate that.
In me personal life there was one very sad day for me in October. One of my sweet cats went to heaven. For his memorialize, I light a candle…
But, as I already know – everything in this life has a reason and I also know that his soul came back to me because at 26th of October my brother and his wife got a child – a sweetest little boy I have ever seen. He has been my real sunshine! Little Martin.
Generally the year ended very well with lovely Christmas time with my family and great New Years Evening with my best friends. And I did my 10 wishes for the next year and hope that the year 2007 is going to be perfect for my family, friends, and my fans, my sweet little pets and for myself.
