Hey everyone

		Happy New Year!!!

I'm still in Estonia and it's a beautiful winter wonderland with more snow coming every single day. My house and garden is totally covered and it's amazing to go skiing in the woods every day, or to take walks with my two snow dogs. New Years Eve was a brilliant night. We put candles and fireplaces across the garden and the snow made it look so special.

2009 was a great year for me with lots of exciting moments. My first two singles 'Keeping Score' and 'Shadow On The Wall' were both successful and I met lots of positive and great people. I even released my own newspaper - The Daily Hannah - lots of craziness!

I hope 2010 brings you lots of joy, happiness, success and memorable moments. There's plenty waiting for me. My next single will be out soon and I want to thank you for taking this journey with me so far. Hope to see you lots in the year ahead!

An Estonian Christmas

We all love to be home at Christmas and even though I've been living in London for two years, my proper home is still in Estonia with my family and with my pets. I landed back home on 13th December and it was already snowing! By the time I got home, it was -11 degrees outside.

This year I really had time to relax and take some time off before the Christmas, so I properly wrote Christmas cards and decorated my house outside and in and I even got some time left for myself!

If you're wondering how Estonians celebrate Christmas… well many people go to church in the morning, families take time for their kids and love going skiing or just taking a walk in woods or the park.

The evening is for the family. There’s a beautiful table covered with all the delightful traditional Estonian food including sült (meat jelly) potatosalad, herring and black bread. The main course is pork meat or goose and blood sausages, sauergraut, roasted potato, marinated pumpkinsalad, red whortleberry jam and other delicious food. We often serve a cake in the end or I usually cook hot apples in the oven and serve them with a ice cream and cinnamon. After the dinner comes the time to open all the presents Santa has left under the tree. It all happens on 24th December - this is our Christmas Eve. To get your present, you usually have to sing a song or read a poem or dance - anything really to "earn" your present. I think that's still a very nice tradition specially for the children because it's a beautiful feeling when you are surrounded with kids singing.

My Christmas Eve was very calm and lovely, I had all that what I just described with my family and I'm so happy that I had Christmas at home! I hope you had a lovely time too.

Hi everyone

I'm sad to say that after visiting nearly 50 schools my very first schools tour is over. I'm exhausted from all the early mornings but got so much great feedback and positive energy from everyone that I can't wait to see everyone again.

During my six weeks on the road I visited some of the most beautiful villages and it's made me realise just how beautiful the countryside really is. I met beautiful and well behaved students, smart and intelligent children, great teachers and friendly headmasters. I came to schools who were prepared to meet me, made signs and lovely drawings, wanted to sing with me and were ready to dance. All the travelling was crazy and I've calculated that I signed nearly 25 thousand autographs over the six weeks!

I had a wonderful time and I'd love to do it all over again. Thanks for having me.

Hi everyone

It's Monday morning and it's my first day off. I thought that I will sleep all day because spending three weeks on the road is quite exhausting. But, funnily enough, I woke up at 5AM and then 7AM - the every day routine has been broken but the he clock inside me is so used to it, it keeps waking me up!

That third week on tour was again brilliant. Giving me so much joy and positive emotions. The schools I visited last week were:

Edmonton County School, Brampton Village Primary, Sandye Place Middle School, St Margaret Mary's Juniors, Blackmoor Park Junior School, Banovallum School, Coningsby St. Michaels Primary, Dorcan Technology College and Drove Primary School.

I stayed one night in Coningsby Golf Club and had a few hours to look around in the village. It was very beautiful. I visited a little delicatessen there and bought a few Christmas cakes, and tried some new cheeses. It's a fabulous place! I also drove round the area and looked at some property… I love being in the middle of the London's buzz but at weekends I miss the countryside and taking long walks with my dogs, so sometimes I sneak into the property pages and dream about a country house somewhere where is peace and quiet. I fell in love to Coningsby totally... There were two beautiful schools there, very nice teachers and great children!

Dorcan Technology College was fun, they had really prepared for me with lots of pictures from my website up on the screen while I was talking. They were great students and it was a very warm welcome.

I stayed in Liverpool on Wednesday night and had a very nice time at St Margaret Mary's Catholic Juniors and Blackmoor Park Junior School. After the schools I had an interview and live performance at BBC Merseyside with the lovely Billy Butler who has showed me huge support over the years. It was so good to see him again. I also had a great chat with Roy Basnett on City Talk Radio and also my lovely friend Alan Robson from Metro FM. Alan, known as "ginger-man" visited Estonia few years ago and we had a great week there visiting all the beautiful places in my country.

The weekend took me to Scotland where I had three Christmas lights switch ons - in Clyde, Alexandria and Loch Lomond as well as a gig at the Sunset Boulevard nightclub. It was a pretty busy weekend, ending yesterday with flying back to London where there was a huge storm and an awful landing. It was so good to finally be in my own bed and I'm just relaxing today as this is my day off and doing preparations for tomorrow - it's going to be the fourth week on the road, but I still loving it!!!

With love,

Hi everyone

It's been my third week on the road and I'm full of only positive emotions and energy - these kids have been a pure pleasure to visit.

Hello to last week's schools:

The John Madejski Academy

Winterbourne Boys School

Grange Primary School

Baden Powell Middle School

Fairfield High

Southfield Juniors

One of my favourite places I visited was Poole for Grange Primary and Baden Powell schools. It's a beautiful area and there's something I really love about the seaside. I kept my eyes out for nice houses. At the end of the day it's only 1.5 hours from London so I easily might end up living there soon. Winterbourne on Monday was a really great school - lovely children, very well behaved!

On Friday at Southfield I did a concert and a 50 minute work shop for 15 girls who wants to become singers. It was very refreshing and great to see and hear so talented youngsters with high hopes and great dreams!

Despite the weather turning awful with a huge storm and terrible wind, we drove to Butlins Minehead Friday evening for a gig. There were about 3000 people there which was brilliant. It was a great venue - I really loved the place! Then I spent the weekend having a good rest as I've got 14 more days on the road, this time with no breaks!

I've visited some absolutely wonderful schools this week, especially Tuesday at Brampton Village Primary, what an amazing village! The school was so beautiful - if I had to go back to school, I think I'd pick this one! Today I'm in Liverpool, visiting two schools and doing four interviews, one with Billy Butler from BBC Merseyside, so make sure you tune your radios in!

This weekend is going to busy again as I'm up in Scotland turning on some christmas lights. On Saturday, come see me at 2.45 at the Clyde Shopping Centre, or at 4.15 in Alexandria town centre. In the evening I'll be playing a gig at The Sunset Boulevard in Clydebank.

I can't stay up too late though as on Sunday afternoon I'll be joining children from a local hospice in Balloch to switch on the christmas lights on Loch Lomond. I'll be there from 4.30.

Come and say hi if you're about!

Hi everyone,

It's Friday evening and I'm sitting in my tour bus and heading back to London after a week spent touring round lots of schools. It's been a great week - very positive and emotional.

I've visited 7 schools so far and the feedback has been absolutely awesome. I love those children and those young students! They are so warm, intelligent and open and all the questions they ask are really inspirational. They've been quizzing me on things like, "In which continent Estonia is situated?" or "What's language do estonians speak?" or "Do we have any wild animals in our forests?" or "What inspires you the most to write music?" I have enjoyed every school and every second of this tour and there's three more weeks to go!

A big shout out has to go to the schools I've been to already, so hello to Dedworth Middle School, Abbeyfield School, Emerson Valley School, South Birmingham College, Adderley Primary, Birley Spa Primary and Challange College!

All the schools I've visited and will be visiting this month can enter a special competition where you have the chance to win different stuff: my gloves, specially designed by me, some new i-Pod Nano's and other things. Just hit enter competition on the front page and select the schools competition.

I'll see you next week, stay updated and come back to read my blog:)

Lots of love,

The week has started with something very exciting as I've headed back to

school with a very special schools tour. The plan is to visit

school-children up and down the country talking to them about me,

songwriting and Estonia and then doing a fun performance with them.

Today was the first concert down in Windsor at Dedworth Middle School. Hello

to everyone there! It was great to meet you. I had an amazing time and the

kids were so happy and smiley. They all listened carefully to what I said

and danced about when the time was right. It was an excellent start to an

exciting couple of weeks.

Looking forward to seeing you if I'm heading to your school soon!

Hey everyone,

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to write to you all last week, I was so busy with interviews after The Daily Hannah, I just lost track of time. It was lovely to meet so many of you on the streets of London though and I really hope you enjoyed reading my paper. You can see what happened when 55,000 newspapers were handed out in London here.

Did you all tune in to Radio 1 on Friday night to hear my new track Shadow On The Wall? I was dancing all around the room when I heard it come on and loved hearing all the comments that came in about it! It’s such an amazing feeling to know everyone is enjoying my song.

This week is a really exciting week for me as it’s the start of my schools tour and I’m really looking forward to getting out and about and meeting lots of my fans. Also Bebo have chosen me as one of their featured artists so if you’re a Bebo user keep an eye out for a feature on me this week.

Lots of Love

Hi everyone!

The last week has been totally crazy. I'm now starting to feel like I know

exactly what it means to be in the middle of the music industry!

One of my favourite things this week was hanging out with a journalist from

BBC News Online. We spent an hour chatting about lots of bits and bobs and

it was really fun to talk to someone who seemed really interested and had

lots to talk about. I'm looking forward to seeing the article a lot & I'll

let you know once it's online.

I've been spending lots of my time making some new gloves with my stylist

and I got to put them to good use on Thursday when I shot the video for

'Shadow on the Wall'. The day started at 5.30am and went all the way through

to midnight so it was tough, but worth it! I kept tweeting all the way

through the day any time I got a chance so make sure you're following me

@hannahsongbird to hear the latest news. I got to wear some very cool

outfits so I can't wait for you to see it.

Every night this week I've been tuning in to Gaydar Radio as the very

amazing DJ Phil Marriott has been showing brilliant support and playing

'Shadow on the Wall' every night! Then on Friday night, I got my very first

play on BBC Radio 1 as part of Floor Fillers! Sara Cox played the Riff &

Rays remix and it was an amazing feeling. I was dancing all over the place.

Thanks to all my friends from Estonia who listened in over the internet and

everyone else who got in touch via facebook & twitter to let me know they

enjoyed it.

Next week is going to be even crazier, but I'm feeling so excited about it

all, particularly because I just got the news that the single has gone up

the club chart to #5! Amazing!!

Lots of love

Hi everyone

The first and most exciting news is that the new single 'Shadow On The Wall' is getting a lot of love from all the right places. I keep hearing it on the radio and screaming out loud with excitement. A big shout out to Phil Marriott from Gaydar Radio. I've been listening to his show every night and he's been awesome playing out all the different remixes! Good news as well on the club chart - if #24 wasn't great enough last week, I just found out it's shot up to #9. I'm speechless and so happy.

Most of this week is being taken up with plans for the video shoot. I've been picking out clothes and had a rehearsal today and tomorrow we do the actual shoot. It's all very glam so I'm excited for you to see it. Last week I took a very quick trip home to see my family and my pets and also dropped into Estonian radio stations to see what they thought of the single. They loved it too. Yay!

Lots of news has been popping up in the papers and online too. Yesterday's Daily Express included the Booker's Tip which was so heartwarming. I gotta feeling, that this year's gonna be a good year!!!

Stay tuned to my twitter and facebook tomorrow and I'll keep you all up to date from the video shoot.

Lots of Love

Hi everyone

Hope you are good and enjoying the sunshine. I can't believe quite how beautiful London is in the Autumn. It's funny how spring and Autumn are sunny and beautiful but summer was strange and quite rainy!

I've been finishing off all the little bits and bobs for my new single 'Shadow on the Wall'. I had a photoshoot with my lovely French photographers Sandrine and Michael on Friday and am now waiting to see the pictures especially as I made two new pairs of gloves just for the shoot. The next big thing is the video which will be shot very soon.

We're putting together an idea as to when the single will be coming out as we speak but I've already had great feedback from club DJs. I've even been told Boy George has been playing it in the his sets. Wow. Bimbo Jones, Riff & Rays, Mischa Daniel and the Sharp Boys have all done some brilliant remixes so it's very exciting!

When I have more news, it will be straight with you!

Lots of love

Hello friends.

I can't believe it's September already. It's crazy - I remember it being

Christmas last year and now there's only 4 months to go.

I stayed in Estonia at the start of the month and saw all the new 1st years

heading off to school for the first time. I was driving through Tallinn and

there were hundreds of them, all wearing their school hats and white shirts,

holding their parent's hands nervously ready to meet their teachers and make

their first friends. It was such a heart warming scene.

Then it was time to head back to London. Happy and relaxed I was excited and

ready for work. I can't really tell you everything just yet but I can reveal

that I was in the studio with Lee and Marc from Bimbo Jones. We did a remix

of 'Shadow on the Wall' and then something else huge! It's a new project

we're working on and it's going to be AWESOME. I can't wait to let you know

everything.

Talking of 'Shadow on the Wall', it should be hitting dancefloors near you

some time very soon, so get dancing! All the remixes are brilliant - let me

know which one you love the most!

My Summer

Hi my friends,

I hope you are having a lovely summer, mine has been beautiful.

After an extremely sunny time in Cannes, I came back to London for a little

bit and finished one new track. It was the last one I'm writing for the

album so it's very exciting because the album is now complete!

Then because it's August and everyone's having a fun time on holiday, it was

time to leave London again and head home to Estonia for the rest of the

month. I'm so happy I've done this because August in Estonia is so

beautiful. I've driven across the country and realised again just how gorgeous the

country is. My month so far has been quite the opposite of glamourous

London. I've totally taken time off and spent time chilling out.

One of my favourite things is spending time at our summer house by the sea.

I took my beautiful dogs and just sat on the sand, watching the waves for

hours. There were no other people on the beach, just miles and miles of

emptyness. Bliss. I've been going to the house since I was born, so it's

full of cherished childhood memories for me. If the sky is clear, I love

sitting on the roof and looking at the sky, spotting all the stars. The look

like a million tiny & shiny crystals. London is so full of smog, that you

never get to see them properly.

Another day we went off to the forest and picked red whortleberries.

Estonians normally pick these berries and make a jam to be served on

Christmas Eve with sausages. Thanks to my little trip I've got five jars

full of that jam - bring on Xmas!

Now I'm enjoying a final few days off as September is going to be very busy

for me. My second single will be out soon and I'm also heading back into the

studio to work on an exciting new project. I'll tell you about that very

soon, promise!

Lots of love,

Hannah x

Just when I thought the sun had gone away for the year, it came out again last week. Hurrah! I hope it was nice and sunny where you are.

To help me enjoy the sun I've put together a little playlist of my favourite songs to listen to around this time of year. I've done it using a program called Spotify which you can get here if you're in the UK. It's well worth it!

	A few highlights are:

R Kelly- Ignition - R Kelly is my very favourite male r&b vocalist. He's so talented and 'Ignition' is just one of those songs that give you a real feel good feeling every time you hear it.

The Killers - Mr Brightside - I've bought all The Killers albums and love them, but this is the song that really gets me. It's also featured in the movie 'The Holiday' and everytime I listen to the song I dance all about the room and go mad, just like Cameron Diaz did in the movie.

Barry White - My First, My Last, My Everything - Perfect summer morning music. It just puts me in a great mood for the rest of the day.

Guru Josh Project - Infinity I love the melody of this song. It's a brilliant club hit and puts you in the mood for going dancing straight away.

Listen to my playlist here!

Wow it's been a little while since I last wrote, but life been a brilliant
combination of gorgeously chilled and a little bit hectic - just the way I
like it.

First of all a big thank you to everyone who helped 'Keeping Score' do so
well. I had a great time talking to Pat Marsh on BBC Kent and Alan Robson on
Metro Radio and got a brilliant reaction from lots of you out there.
Hopefully I'll be playing a few dates in August so will keep you up to date
on that and look forward to seeing you out there.

I've also been keeping in touch with my American fans. A big thank you to DJ
Ron who made 'Keeping Score' Song of the Day on About.com.
His wise words spread well because this week the Bimbo Jones mix of the
single got added to the playlist along with Lady Gaga herself of Electric FM
(http://www.electricfm.com). I've been having a little listen to all their
great tunes and heard myself twice! It's quite a weird feeling hearing
yourself on the radio but also makes me totally thrilled!

Now my friend is visiting me in London for two weeks so got to shoot to
spend some time with her. It's fun - I'm showing her about and feel like a
tourist again. There's so much to see; it's such a beautiful city.

Much love

Hannah

	Hello everyone

Yesterday, I arrived in Estonia for the weekend. I was very happy to see my

family and my cats/dogs. We lit a fire outside and I was enjoying finally

being home after a few months away. Then I started to see the news about

Michael Jackson come in on twitter. I followed every single second of every

single news channel and was in total shock. I'm so so sad - he was the King

Of POP and the world has lost one of the most talented and hard-working

genius. The world will always remember him and his amazing work - he'll

	never die in our hearts...

It's impossible to even choose one song, because he has so many great songs,

but one of my favorite is Billie Jean. R.I.P.

Hey everyone

The week just gone has been busy and exciting. Lots of you sent me lovely comments about the new video and then I got the amazing news that 'Keeping Score' has hit the club charts as a new entry at no. 23. Wow! I am so thrilled. Thanks to all of you out there for requesting it in the clubs and dancing to it.

Things have been heating up with the single and I have done a few radio interviews to support it. One of them was a phone interview with SkyPlus who are the biggest radio station in Estonia. I was actually in a meeting at a swanky Soho bar called Soho House when they rang and I got told to go outside as you're not allowed to use phones in there. So it ended up with me standing a street corner trying to do an interview surrounded by roadworks and the sound of drilling. Other than that I think it went quite well!

When I've not been working I spent a night at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Party. It was quite a glitzy affair with people like Ron Dennis and David Gilmour there. Best of all I bumped into John Cleese, who I absolutely love. He's so funny, it was very hard to keep a straight face.

This week I'm going to be working on a new gloves collection that I've been designing, working on some new songs and keeping my fingers crossed for 'Keeping Score'!

		Lots of love

The big news - my video for Keeping Score has arrived. Hooray! I wrote the song with Steve Robson who did the amazing 'Shine' with Take That so it was really exciting and to tell the truth a little intimidating to work with such a successful writer.

It was such a fun day making the video with backing dancers and lots of different outfits. I think the blue dress is my favourite - the colour is so vibrant!

There's also a version of the video done with Bimbo Jones. I've always loved their remixes as they make any song really fun to dance to - they have worked with Britney, Pink, Pixie Lott - and now me!

The song is out on June 27 on iTunes! I hope you all like it.

	Love as always!
	Hannah

p.s. have just started reading 'The City of Falling Angels' by John Berent. It's all about Venice and it's making me desperate to go!

I'm back in London town baby! Cannes was totally amazing but there's something about the UK rain that I missed. What is happening to me? I've been told the sun should be coming out at the weekend though - can't wait!

Everything is getting ready for the launch of my new single 'Keeping Score' which is out on June 29. I've just been sent a rough edit of the new video and it should be ready next week. I can't wait to see it! I've also been learning a bit more about different things online and have been convinced to sign up to twitter! I'm just about getting to grips with it, but it does mean I got a shiny new iPhone to play with. Much better than my blackberry. If you want to follow my every word on twitter you can catch up with me @hannahsongbird

When I'm not glued to the internet though I've been doing a bit more London exploring. On Wednesday I headed to Camden to a really cool venue called the Proud Galleries. It used to be some kind of horse hospital but it's been converted into an amazing three room venue which has little stables in it which you can rent out. Really cool. I went there to see the House of Diehl's Style Wars event. Basically 8 upcoming stylists had a few items of clothing and fabric and had to conjure up an outfit for their model in 5 minutes. It was crazy. One of the judges was VV Brown who is also a pop star in London. She's got a wicked style and awesome hair - check out her new video, I love it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8vk2bk_F6o

Shoes, gloves, dresses - I'm so glad I brought as many as I did. I'm over in Cannes for the film festival and it's amazing. There are so many parties that I need to change about every two hours so I don't do the ultimate sin and get a photo taken in the same dress twice. The weather is amazing too so it's all about keeping cool and making sure I don't leave my sunglasses by the pool!

Everywhere is buzzing with celebrities and I spent my first night at the Belvadere Party which was hosted by Quentin Tarantino. I spotted Ryan Phillippe there and remembered how much I loved him in Cruel Intentions. It took me back to my teens! There was a surprise performance at 2am which kept me going as it was from Blondie's Debbie Harry. She's so cool and looked amazing - I can only hope I look that great at 63!

The gorgeous Penelope Cruz was my next spot at the Hollywood Dominos Party. Paris Hilton was there wearing a gorgeous glittery silver dress as well as the lovely Orlando Bloom.

Not sure where I'm going to hit next but I'm going to make sure it's not all partying and spend a bit of time soaking up the sun rays by the pool. Woo hoo!

May & Birthday

As you know I now live in London. It's really exciting because I haven't been here that long and there's lots of new things to explore. Plus the atmosphere is much more hectic and busy than back home.

So for a bit of relaxation I went back home to Estonia for a week and it was so lovely to be home. Of course seeing all my friends and family was perfect, but I was so excited to see how my little puppies had grown. They've become so big in just a few weeks.

I caught up with some of my best friends and we just spent the week chilling out and catching up on sleep! London soon called though and I had a brilliant birthday night out with some of my friends. There was lots of celebrating and a fair bit of dancing to be done.

As ever there was no time to relax though and I'm writing this knee deep in clothes as I'm trying to decide what shoes and dresses to take to Cannes with me for next week. You can never take too many pairs of shoes right?

Lots of love and hugs!

Recording amazing track with Steve Booker

Hello my friends,

You know, it’s pretty amazing that my first co-writing experience was with Steve Booker who is now the number one song-writer and producer in UK.. It was eight month ago when we first sat down in his little studio and started a new song. He wrote the Best Song of 08 - Duffy's "Mercy" which was awarded a Brit Award, and also wrote „Stepping Stone“ with her. Wow!

When I go to his studio now, it really seems like nothing has changed. He's still the same cool Steve with his great ideas and we just have fun working together. So, there I was, recording a great track with him and I’m hope you're all going to love it as much as I do! It’s no surprise that Steve was awarded the accolade of the Best Newcomer at the Music Producers Guild Awards, he is just brilliant.

Yesterday was a day off and I was just enjoying London. The weather has been more then great this year, it’s so warm and nice over here!

We’re getting closer to my new single release date now and that means that the most exciting time is coming closer for me!

With love and kisses,

Hello!

I've had many photo sessions before but that was totally another experience! The photographers were a french couple and were amazing. I absolutely loved it. The results were many amazing pictures and

I'm so pleased. We started really early with my stylist Robert - here he is:

And my hair&make-up artist Hamilton - one picture with him as well:

Thank you for everyone who was involved and made this day completely perfect for me!

It was a very busy week as there were so many events I simply couldn't miss! First there was an event hosted by Moet & Chandon - A Tribute to Cinema evening and then the Figures Of Speech, which was a Fundraising Gala at the ICA in their Opera Gallery: Life - private view; and many others.

I'll be back in Estonia just for one week but I'll catch up with you all again later!

Hugs,

Hello my friends,

I just spent a great time in the studio in London working with Steve Robson, we were recording a new song and I must say - it's going to be amazing! It really sounded incredible! Steve Robson is one of the most sought after producers and I was so excited to work with him as he has worked with Take That, Lily Allen, Leona Lewis and many many other big stars. He was so nice and really modest and fantastic to work with. I can't wait to go back - those days in studio seem to go so fast!

The puppies are now a month and a half old and will soon be ready to go to their new homes. It's going to be one sad day for me when they're gone - but I can't keep them all, that's for sure;) I'm having a new photo shoot soon, so I'll let you know how that goes!

Love as always,

Happy New Year to everyone!!!

It's going to be extremely great year, I'll be back on studio next week and will finish my next album soon - so 2009 - something to live for...

Thank you for being so supportive and great fans, without you this journey would be so empty.

Everything is possible if you believe it's possible.

Your mind sets your limits.

What you envision you can do, you can do.

What your mind can conceive and believe, your mind can achieve.

Success is a state of mind. Start thinking of yourself as a success.

Believe in yourself.

Know in your heart, that you can do anything.

If you think you can, you can.

It’s just few days and Christmas is everywhere. I’m back home to spend this time with my family. My tour with Jason Donovan is over, I can't believe how fast it's gone. It only seems like yesterday we were greeting our first audience in Rhyl, and now it's over!

Yesterday’s concert was in London, the last of the 18 date UK tour that has taken me and my band around England to Scotland and Wales. There have been so many highlights on the tour and so many things to remember!

Every night you have given me amazing support and it has been more then a pleasure to spend this December touring and playing for you. We want to say a huge thank you for your support, for coming to meet me after each gig, buying my album, asking me to sign flyers and having photos taken. It has been totally fantastic!

Thanks for being great fans, I love you all and hope to keep in touch with you!

Merry Christmas and have the best year in 2009!!!
Hannah

Christmas feeling on the road

Hello my dear ones!

It’s been quite a journey, I must say! I’m still on the road, tonight was the fifteenth concert in Stoke On Trent.

I have had amazing experiences so far, I think the Christmas time will be full of great stories to share with my family, as I’m going home for the Christmas to spend this special time of the year with my family and loved ones.

Last time I spoke with you, was in Newcastle and I had a concert in Gateshead. What a beautiful venue, a huge glass building, like a bowl, by the river, very, very nice place. Here are few pictures about this concert:

I was lucky to stay in Newcastle few days, I love that city with a cute old buildings and very modern city area.

Anyhow, Wednesday found us in Sheffield and the concert was held in City Hall, here are the pictures:

Here's few pictures taken after the show with my fans:

My next day was a day off but I drove to Liverpool to have a radio show with a legendary DJ Billy Butler. I have been on his show before and like last time, he was so lovely and supportive. I had a great time in Liverpool, this city is completely changed over the past year. As being the Capital of Culture 2008, they have totally rebuild the whole town. I loved Livepool before and love it now even more.

Here is Billy Butler:

I’m actually looking forward for tomorrow’s concert in Birmingham because I know that Birmingham’s Symphony Hall in one of the most beautiful concert hall in all Europe and it’s famous of its amazing acoustics. And I was right – when I arrived to the venue, I just couldn’t believe that one concert hall can be so luxurious. Look and enjoy:

Here's lovely monitor engineer Tim and sound engineer Dennis:

Next day and next concert in Manchester.

It’s Sunday morning, beautiful day and we are off to Harrogate, the concert was held in International Center, again very nice venue and lovely people who were working there. Here are the pictures:

With the fan Darren:

Monday was day off and as we were in Manchester, I spent this day for Christmas shopping. I’m actually not a big fan of shopping but I love to do it during the Christmas time and I love to surprise my family and friends.

I’m sitting in my tour bus and driving towards to London. I had a concert in Stoke On Trent tonight and only thing I can say – I love the audience of UK! They all have been perfect!

I hope you’ll have a peaceful Christmas time, I wish you could just take the time off this year and treat yourself with a beautiful moments. There’s so many people around you who really cares about you and I’m the one who is thinking about specially you this Christmas time.

With Love and Peace
Hannah

My dear ones,

I’m still on road, touring with Jason. I’m I Newcastle at the moment, actually, listening Alan Robson show – have I told you how amazing person he is? He is definitely one of the most hard-working people in the earth!

Oh yes, I’m in Newcastle and I was in Alan show today, and I felt like a part of his family, because, remember, Alan was in Estonia exactly a year ago and we become so good friends during this time.

So, after my last bog I have been in Dundee, which was incredible show, here are the pictures:

And then we had our next show in Preston, the venue was absolutely brilliant:

And yesterday we were in Glasgow, I’ve been there twice before and I really love this city, we had amazing time there, here’s few pics of that concert:

I’m just sitting here at my hotel room and listening Alan Robson Show and feeling so lucky to have those lovely people around me… Alan, I send angels to watch over you!

I hope you’ll have a great evening…God Bless!

It’s been long time since I last wrote my blog and I must admit – so much has happened during that time.

I moved to the UK, to London at the end of the summer to work with on my new album and prepare for the tour. I’ve been in a studio for the last three months, writing new songs and recording them. I have the most fabulous producers with who I’m working at the moment and I’m happy to let you know that the new album will be released in spring 2009. I’ll come back to that topic soon and hopefully you will be the first to hear my new songs through my site.

I’m sitting in my tour bus at the moment, we have just left Manchester behind and are driving towards to Scotland. Yes, I’m on tour with Jason Donovan and finally this dream and great experience I’ve been looking forward to for so long has arrived!

Our tour started on 27th November, exactly a week ago in Rhyl, Wales. The first concert was a bit nervous like all first things but I was probably the only one in our team who really enjoyed everything. The audience was great and supportive, really amazing! And what a beautiful place Rhy isl! It’s by the seaside and my hotel was exactly by the sea, so the view from my window in the morning was totally breath taking. Here’s a few pictures I would like to share with you about the first concert:

We left the next morning – oh, by the way,‘we‘ means my crew, hopefully I’ll get the chance to introduce them all to you during the next three weeks – they all are just amazing people and it is nothing but a real pleasure to work with everybody on my team. Here’s just one picture with my keyboard player and musical director Siim and my guitar player, John:

The evening of 28th November we arrived in Peterborough and the concert was held at the Broadway Theater. There was a full house again and another great show.

Oh, and Jason Donovan – he’s great! A lovely and kind person, very easygoing and sweet! No wonder, everybody loves him!

1st December and we are in Cardiff. I love that city, I have been here twice before during my radio tours and I have only great memories of that place. I remember my first radio interview here, the interviewer was a great comedian – Chris Corcoran and we agreed before hand that he won’t ask any ordinary questions, so it was a real fun show with lots of laugh and jokes. The second time I was in Cardiff I was interviewed by Alan Thompson and I really enjoyed that show. It is always good to talk with somebody who knows so much about music. So, Cardiff – here we come! What a great concert that was! Here are few pics:

We stayed in Cardiff overnight and again – a breathtaking view from my hotel window – The City Wheel and the most beautiful old castle said good morning to me! And I mustn’t forget to mention how beautifully Cardiff was decorated with Christmas lights.

The guys were already waiting in our tour bus and we drove next to Ipswich. By the way, we’re having such a fun in that bus, we have LCD screens and I think we are watching all the best Comedy films that exist on earth like "The Holiday“ and „Something Gotta Give“ – which are my absolute favorite movies. We’ve also watched „Pink Panther Movie“ and „What Happened in Vegas“ – so those long journeys actually don’t feel so long at all.

Another great concert in Ipswich Regents Theater and here are the pictures:

Now, we head North for our next concert in Northampton. And believe me, I felt that north wind with every inch of my body. Northampton was freezing. Yes, right, and I thought that I was used to Estonian cold weather…! It was really chilly and cold that day but that didn’t stop us from giving another great concert! It was an amazing venue with three tiers for the audience and they was a superb crowd too! Here are the pictures:

We left Northampton directly after the show and drove to Manchester because I had early morning TV interview in Manchester for Channel M‘s Breakfast Show. A long journey but we all were happy because we had done six great shows and tomorrow was going to be our first day off.

And here I am at the moment, in the middle of the North of England, it’s snowing and the road conditions are pretty rough. I‘m looking out of the window and there‘s mountains covered with snow everywhere. It’s so beautiful! Winter has finally arrived in England! We will be in Scotland by the end of the day but we have few more hours to go yet.

I’m sitting in the tour bus and thinking how blessed I am to have this amazing opportunity to experience this great feeling of what these concerts have given to me. I’m grateful every day that I’m able to go and give a perfect concert, I am thankful for every moment I can share with the audience and I thank Jason and his team, who have been so very kind and lovely to me. And I thank you, my friends and fans – you are the reason, I’m writing the music.

I’m sending you much love and angels to watch over you!

With love,

Spring thoughts

My dear friends,

I just wanted to share few thoughts with you.
I was thinking yesterday while sitting outside and enjoyng the mild, spring evening… I have now worked out the difference between Estonians, British and French people, but there is one similarity and it worries me…and rather sad - we are all too busy. We rushing somewhere…but where?

There is only one great opportunity to live, laugh, work, love, be happy & enjoy life… even the smallest things in the world like flowers blooming, birds singing, the cycle of nature - how the sun rises and shines for us. Do we see that today?

When was the last time you took the time to savour the beauty that spring offers? When was the last time you smelt the wonderful and fresh smell of grass on a morning in spring? When was the last time you smiled to the people? Life is full of beauty which is meant for gracing our journey…
I truly hope that you won’t miss it.

I love spring, May is my favorite month of year, I don’t know is it because I have birthday in May or because everything born again in May but I wish that you’ll feel the joy and happiness of life, smile at each other and say something beautiful to the ones you care for.

I am blessed to have so many great friends and I thank the Lord every day to have that opportunity to share my music with you.
I’m sending you much love and the angels to watch over you and protect you!

With love,
Hannah

April's Blog

Hi!

It’s been long time since I last wrote to you and I know being busy is not an excuse… but what else can I say?

I just came back from London; it’s already the second time in April I been there for a week week to promote my new single, You & I, which is out on Monday! It’s been a pretty interesting time for me, I recorded interviews with GMTV, Reuters News and BBC News 24. You can watch the GMTV clip here and as soon as we receive the video for Reuters & News 24, my online team will add them to my You Tube channel.

And at the beginning of April I recorded interviews on Nuts TV and Living TV, you can watch them both on my You Tube Channel. If you missed them, check them out here!

So, this week my promotional trip brought me to Manchester where I performed live and gave an interview on the morning show on Channel M. I love the presenters there – they were a really sweet couple with a great attitude and we're really interested in my story. I love when people know even little bit of the interviewee's background before an interview and they had done great job… I was pleasantly surprised, I must say.

After Manchester I visited my adorable friend from Liverpool Radio – Billy Butler who is just an amazing person. I had a great interview with Billy and a live performance as well, as they have very good piano in Radio Merseyside. You know, it's such a pleasure to talk to somebody who really knows about music and enjoys your work like Billy does!

I spent the whole day in Liverpool, I really like the city. Right in the city centre there's a wide main street and great shops. It's a beautiful city. Well, there’s construction works everywhere – the whole city looks like a big building site right now…but I bet it’s because Liverpool is the Capital of Culture this year but apart from the building work, Liverpool is very nice.

Then, I had another interview with Alan Thompson from BBC Radio Wales. I have visited his show before and he is a great chap and I enjoyed the interview a lot. On Wednesday morning, I visited the Estonian Embassy where BBC News 24 interviewed me for the show, Entertainment 24. The interview will broadcast this weekend, here's the times, hope you can watch it! Saturday 1045 & 1745. Sunday 1745 & 2145

So, things moving are along in a very positive way and I feel great about that.

Unfortunately it was awful weather this time in the UK, raining every day and quite cold as well but luckily we have an amazingly warm weather in Estonia, so I’m going out to do some sunbathing.

I hope you have a great weekend with sun and happy moments!

With love,

Hannah

Hello my dear friends,

Easter time is over and I thank everyone who sent me those sweet cards with bunnies and flowers, also thank you for many beautiful letters, poems and wishes. I truly feel blessed to be surrounded by so many great friends. I had exactly one week to rest during Easter time and my body decided „Phew, I’m tired and want to stay in bed“ – so basically I got some kind of flu and took some time off. I think I needed that to be truly honest with you, it is always good to listen your body.

Anyway, that didn’t stop me from celebrating Easter! No, I had painting eggs with onionskins and made pasha which is originally Jewish but nowadays also a popular Estonian Easter dessert.

Spring brings usually lots of sun and flowers and people feel themselves so happy, so you’ll never believe what happened in Estonia: a crazy snowstorm! It started on the second day of spring and lasted two nights and two days – it was snowing heavily and constantly, hilarious and wonderful at the same time. I couldn’t believe my eyes and I just don’t understand why we didn’t had same kind of weather at Christmas time?

I guess you can only imagine the two fellows faces when it started to snow. My two beautiful snowdogs were thrilled. And to give you a real picture what happened, to show you that it wasn’t „just a little snow“ – here is proof:

Crazy isn’t it?

I’m flying at the moment to London to promote my new single „You&I“, I’ll be back with more news tomorrow!

Much love and kisses,

Hannah

March…and my media frenzy!

Hello everyone!

The end of the March is almost here and I have to say I’m struggling to keep up with everything I have going on – it‘s been a seriously busy month. After making the video and doing the photoshoot in London, media interest has been very high. I was featured on Estonian National TV‘s most popular show, Pealtnägija, which is a similar format to 60 Minutes. Now you have a little oportunity to learn some estonian by watching the clip! (scroll the cursor to 28min)

http://etv.ee/arhiiv.php?id=76750

I also had a great concert at the beginning of March with my band, here’s some pictures:

Then, there was an interview in Estonia‘s biggest newspaper and another feature in a women‘s lifestyle magazine. After that I was invited to appear on a very popular TV show, Dream Weddings, where I was part of the jury who had to choose a couple who most deserved their dream wedding. Well, it was good fun and very hard to choose just one couple because all of them were so lovely together, it was very hard to make the right decision.

At the same time I was reading a book Growing Green, which is about how rampant consumptions threatening the environment. I relised again how important the topic it is in my life and how much harm the humans can cause by not caring enough about what happens around us…

Anyway, I’m flying to London this week to perform on Friday Night is a Music Night Show on BBC Radio 2 with BBC Symphonic Orchestra – so tune up your radio or add the below link to your favourites and listen in! THIS WILL BE BROADCAST ON FRIDAY 23RD MAY 2008!

Take care of yourself and speak to you soon!

With love,

Hannah

Photo shoot in London

Hi,

My video shoot in London, which was a great experience. So much so, that I had I to take one day off after. I had to because we spent twenty hours shooting the video for 'You &I' and it was well worth it!

I enjoyed every minute of the day and appreciate all the work everyone did and the power and energy they gave to me to make everything perfect.

I especially want to thank Rob and Rupert who got all the team together and worked so hard on every little detail. You're both are so great! You're both so different and yet similar at the same time. I think Rob is probably the most tranquil person I’ve ever met. Here's Rob in the middle of this pic:

And my lovely, lovely stylist – Marina. The crazy Italian women – as we like to call her. She is so sweet and very good friend of mine, she is interested in everything, including how to play the drums:

And she recently opened a real Italian deli with her friend, which I visited and highly recommend! There was the best lasagne ever!

Go and visit if you're in London! http://alimentarilondon.com/index.html

Also, let’s not forget my magnificent hair and make-up artist Barrie who worked his fingers to the bone and made me so beautiful that day! Thank you, my dear!

Here is a picture with Marina and Barrie. They were so cute together!

After a peaceful and restful afternoon, the day after the video shoot, came Friday's twelve hour photo-shoot. Seven sessions, inside and outdoor pictures. Same team, great day, lots of fun! Especially with one hairy, tabby cat who was an extremely big character and wanted to be in every picture they took. She was just lying around everywhere! But she was cute… I adore cats!

Here are few pictures taken during that day:

I think I‘m very blessed to have so many great people around me – Nadia and Alan, Christian, all musicians with who we spent that great day during video shoot and everyone from the team.

So, as you'll hopefully agree, it's worth to visiting again very soon because there’s going to be lots of new pictures… and I’m very pleased with the result.

Take care now… it’s time for sleep here!

Shooting the video for You & I in London

So, to update you on my recent trip to London. I have had a very busy week, with photoshoots, shooting the video for my next single, You & I, and lots of meetings with my Team.

I shot the video for You & I on Wednesday 27th February. It was a very long day, over 20 hours work! It was very successful and I can't wait for you to see the video, it is definitely my best one so far! So, I left my hotel at 6.30am to go to the East London location. The video location was a loft-style apartment which was made to look like a recording studio. When I arrived at 7am, there was already a flurry of activity going on behind the scenes. My hair stylist, fashion stylist, make-up artist, choreographer, drummer, guitar player, backing singers, bass player and about 20 film crew were there waiting for me.

After being styled, we started the shoot. It was like a proper band rehearsal, except it was being filmed. Not only was there a film crew shooting the video, but also three separate film crews who were doing features about me too so it was very busy in there. MTV were doing a behind the scenes special about me and also the MTV Celebrity Chart in which celebrities choose their top 10 favourite songs (which I can tell you more about when it has aired) and Estonian National TV who were doing a feature about me on their version of 60 minutes, Pealtagija, which is quite a serious topical show in Estonia. It is not everyday that Estonian singers get the opportunity to have International careers so I hope this programme will act as inspiration for other young girls and boys who dream of having International pop careers like I did.

The video doesn't have a storyline as such - we wanted to leave it up to fans' interpretation, but loosely it was about the relationship between musicians and the emotions of playing with a band. We shot solidly, doing re-takes where necessary, until 7pm so already, 12 hours later, everyone was pretty exhausted! Then came the three TV features, for which I was doing interviews with the team and my film crew were talking to them about the shoot too, giving an overview of what had been going on during the day.

After we finished the TV features and were happy with the footage we got from the apartment, we ventured out into the London night to shoot the final scenes. The three locations we visited and shot at were Soho, Regents Street and Battersea Bridge. It was freezing cold but we got some great shots so it was well worth it in the end. We finished up at 2am!

I had a photoshoot on Friday 29th and I will upload some pictures from the day very soon so check back!

Here are some photos from the video shoot...

Hi all!

So what has happened lately? Beginning of the year was quite busy, rehearsing with my new band and big charity concert in Estonia. Then I had a TV performance in France, it’s the popular show on French National Channel for artist such as writers, musicians, painters etc and it was shown not only in French, also in Africa. And I – finally – had a great chance to practice my French! Here are few pictures:

After that show, I was also invited to radio-programme on French Bleu which is great channel in France and the presenter was hugely lovely person who really loved my music.

Meanwhile I spent a few days in the UK, in Hastings where I recorded two new songs with my fabulous producer James McMillan. Hasting turned out to be a beautiful small city and James kindly showed us around. We stayed in a magnificent manor house with a huge park and ducks and flowers and there were also three of the best trained English Springer Spaniel's ever who patiently sat on the front door of the dining room. They looked like a perfect postcard!

After London, I came back to Estonia to organise my grandmother’s 80th Birthday which took place in a small and cosy city called Viljandi. I spent many summers in Viljandi when I was a child and I have great memories of it. The Birthday Party was this weekend and it was such a fun! My grandmother is a real lady! Here she is:

And now, the most important thing – I’m going to London at the end of this week to shoot the video for my third single "You & I", I have also a photo-shoot, so new material is coming – don’t go too far, I will give you a total overview what happens during these days!

Sweet dreams,

Hannah

First concert with my new band

I have spent my first weeks of the year 2008 in Estonia and put together a brand new band. I have performed so many years alone with piano or with full symphonic orchestra – so, now, the time is ready to do something new. There are many great musicians in Estonia but my idea was to find young and fresh ones who love music and who also put their hearts to my music.

My new band consist:

Drummer Kristjan Kallas:

On Bass-quitar Tõnis Kivisild:

Solo-quitarist Taavi Langi:

On Keyboard Tarvi Kull

Saxophonist Virgo Veldi

Pianist Ülo Krigul:

And also four string-players and six beautiful girls as backing vocals singers. All together seven-teen people on the stage!

Our first concert was 16th of January at Kaarli Cathedral in Tallinn which was charity concert where we rise money for orphans, stray cats and dogs and for children with earing-infection. This charity is one of the biggest in Estonia and this year we manage to collect over 1,5 million with this charity. Here is the president of the EMT (the biggest telekom company in Estonia) Valdo Kalm, who organized the charity and also the concert:

I sang the new album "Everything Is Changing" material and also few my old and most loved songs. It was great to see so many people in Cathedral, because it was the first concert over few years in Tallinn. To give you a little imagine about it, here are the pictures:

It’s Sunday, 2th December and most beautiful winter morning. Today’s plan is to visit few places in Tallinn and then to the countryside!

If you want to discover the real old village you must go Rocca al Mare Open Air Museum. The Open Air Museum presents a unique collection of old Estonian buildings on a 79-hectare expanse of seaside land.

Farm buildings, windmills and water mills from various periods and regions have been brought together here. Folk holidays are celebrated in traditional style at the museum, and often folk dance and music can be enjoyed here.

Estonian Open Air Museum is located in a picturesque 79-hectare forest park by Kopli Bay.
Farm buildings from various times and places are on display, along with windmills, water mills and much more. The museum is outside of the city and its hectic hubbub, an ideal place to take a picnic and escape from city life.

Handicrafts are sold in the main gateway and horseback rides are also available. A village inn serves national dishes every day.

Here we are, taking a horse ride through the village:

After great and freezing experience at Open Air Museum, we left Tallinn behind and welcomed Haapsalu.

Haapsalu was granted the rights of town in 1279 and nowadays it is the
administrative center of Lääne County. Its main attraction is the
episcopal castle that today accommodates a museum and a café, and hosts
plays and concerts in its courtyard. At full moon in August a
translucent figure of a woman – the White Lady – appears in the window
of the baptistery of Dome Church, the largest one-nave church in the
Baltics.

And who else then not Alan was so interested of White Lady! Here we are with the guide Tiiu Kammiste:

The old city center is characterized by a miniature town hall and romantic wooden dwelling houses.

By the seaside Promenade stands Kuursaal, one of the finest wooden buildings in Estonia, which houses a summer restaurant. Today, people are attracted to Haapsalu by its historic and maritime ambience and by the Paralepa beach.

The sea was frozen and the picture was so peaceful and calm:

The first mud spa opened its doors in Haapsalu in 1825. Haapsalu was the favorite holiday spot for the family of Russian czars and the famous composer Peter Tchaikovsky among others. And Alan got his first Spa-experience when he was lying on the table, covered with mud… Oh boy, you don’t want to see those pictures! And after that, he smelled like a poop, but he looked healthy!

Anyway, tomorrow we discover new places and many interesting situations...

Love,

Hannah

Let's start the Alan Robson week in Tallinn!

We met Alan and Matt who is Alan's Night Owl Show producer with Liisa Pakosta - the great person and excellent quide in old-town where was also Alan's hotel - The Hotel St. Peterburg.

Liisa was sharing with us few of the scariest legends about Tallinn and I covered all day with photos.

Tallinn, the oldest capital in Northern Europe, was put on the map for the first time by Arabian geographer al-Idrisi in 1154. Tallinn’s Old Town is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the best-preserved medieval town centres in Europe. It boasts a town wall with 26 defence towers, the Dominican St. Catherine’s Monastery founded in 1246, the 600-year-old Gothic Town Hall, the world’s oldest functioning pharmacy on the Town Hall Square and the 159 metres high Oleviste Church which was the highest structure in the world in the 16th century. Toompea Hill and the towers of Oleviste Church and the Town Hall offer breathtaking views over the Old Town. Toompea Castle, built in the 13th and 14th centuries, is the seat of the nation’s parliament and there flies Estonia’s “first flag” on top of Tall Hermann’s Tower.

Here is Alan with Liisa:

And with the producer Matt Bailey

Tallinn is a dynamic city on the move. The medieval Old Town is not a
museum, but a vibrant, living organism between the harbour and the new
business district. The city centre with its cosy cafés, boutiques and
art galleries beckons to take a stroll and explore the streets, to have
a drink and a bite to eat, to party, and – why not – to shop.

Every December since 2000 there has been a big Christmas Market on Raekoja Plats (Town Hall Square) in Tallinn's medieval old town. The large square is filled with over 60 wooden huts, surrounding a large Christmas tree. You'll find the traditional knitted sweaters and socks, linen products, weird felted hats, baskets, beeswax candles, homemade soaps, handmade Christmas decorations, and a variety of other handicrafts. And then there's the marzipan, gingerbread, honey... Many of the products for sale can also be found in the Old Town shops, but it's nice to stroll around at the market - and there are lots of stalls selling *hot* mulled wine to keep you warm in the freezing cold winds..

Opening the Christmas Market

You probably know the saying - "boys will always be boys..." - here is perfect session of photos to describe that:

Poor Alan... it was -11 degrees this day...

After Tallinn's Old Town we visited Kadriorg Park and Castle and the Song Festival Grounds where I did one beautiful song called "Mis on kodu, kus on kodu..." (What is home, where is home...") for the Alan's Show. To say that singing is part of Estonia's national identity is an understatement - because without song in fact there might be no Estonia at all! In 1869 Johann Voldemar Jannsen established the Estonian Song Festival, whilst the nation was still a province of the Russian Empire, and was responsible for fostering a Estonian national awakening. After that, the new tradition was born, and Song Festivals are still composed, after every four years.

"Lauluväljak" - The Tallinn Song Festival Grounds is built on 1959 for conducting Song Festivals. In 1988 Estonians gathered here - at the Lauluväljak - to sing patriotic hymns in what became known as the Singing Revolution that overthrew the Soviet yoke. Today, Tallinn's Song Festival Grounds are better known for hosting international acts, such as Metallica, and the contemporary dance music event, the Sundance Festival. Here we are with Alan:

Interesting day! It's always when I show someone Tallinn and Estonia a realize again and again how beautiful country is Estonia!

I will continue tomorrow... there's going to be early start!

With love,

Hannah

Paris! Paris! Paris!

Ohhh, I had totally forgotten how beautiful Paris was!

I’ve been in Paris few times before when I was a child and always remembered it as being little bit overcrowded with history. But today, I love it. J’adore it! It‘s a place for lovers, a place for people who enjoy every second of their life… and I am one of them!

So, after my scary flight experience, everybody asked me – will you ever catch the plane again?

Oh yes, next week to Paris – was my answer. And here I am now, in at the heart of the most beautiful and romantic city in the whole world and my hotel is just two steps from the Arc de Triomphe.

Here I am, in my first day before taking a little city tour… carefully checking the map…:

So the real reason for this visit is actually my first concert in Paris, which taking place at the Estonian Embassy in Paris. This concert is with invitations only and will be attended for the French media, French and Estonian Diplomats, local dignitaries and some lucky competition winners. By the way, here is one picture with Tiscali competition winners Alyson and Lisa who won the great opportunity to fly over to Paris to see the concert:

And now, the concert! The new Estonian Embassy in Paris is situated in the heart of Paris and it’s beautiful old building with the most lovely little concert hall. I enjoyed every second of this concert because everything was so greatly organized and the audience was perfect! Here is Ambassador of Estonia in Paris Margus Rava, giving a speech before my performance:

And me with the piano, which was an amazing surprise from Blüthners – a
full concert piano with most beautiful sound I have ever heard!

My French manager Jean-Michel Cannitrot and Ambassador Margus Rava:

After concert I was in such a great mood, I didn't want this evening to end and I wanted to enjoy more Paris, so there’s not much to say, emotions were very high and pictures speak more than thousand words!

And next day, I had few interview’s – in French of course, so I had great opportunity to practice my French. And now I feel... I’m more than sure, that I’m ready to fully enter the French market and will love to please the listeners with my music.

Thank you Jean-Michel that you made this concert so perfect! I love Paris!

Good night my dear ones!

Blessing,

Hannah

One scary night…

Hi my dear ones!

As you know from news, I had a concert on 12th November in London at the Cobden Club. It is an interesting place - located in a wonderful Grade II listed building on Kensal Road. On the ground floor is the new Kensal Lounge. It's a contemporary and artistic space, evocative of a New York warehouse. On the first floor the Restaurant and Lounge bar have a brighter and more vibrant feel without losing their elegance.

The stunning Grand Hall has a new bar, extra lighting and leather furniture, but keeps many of its original classical Victorian features.
The Club opened in 1996 with 800 founder members chosen by a high profile Membership Committee. Membership has grown over the years through the process of introduction and nomination by existing Members and Committee Members. The Cobden has an eclectic mix of members - bohemian Notting Hillbillies, musicians, artists, aristos and trustafarians. The concert was great and I saw many Estonians as well, which was great surprise for me. So that all was fun… but, after the concert… the next day...

I was supposed to take a flight back to Estonia, which I did... but during the flight suddenly the pilot informed us that because of a malfunction in its navigating system, the plane would have to make an emergency landing in Hamburg. So, we were forced to land in Hamburg. There was no panic on the board, but the greatest excitement among the passengers was caused by appearance of the German fighter jets which were accompanying our plane till the landing. It was scary, I must admit! And the most scary part is that the landing of the passenger plane accompanied by fighter jets is very unusual and hasn’t happened before in flying history . We truly understood on the plain that real reason for sending the fighter jets was because the German authorities were afraid that the Estonian plane could get out of control and that is why they accompanied it until the last minute of its flight.

I don’t know what people were thinking, but I was only talking with the angels. I couldn’t believe that this was happening. I didn’t want to believe that something awful could happen and that I might not see my family and pets again… but I truly realized that the situation was very bad.

So, after landing safely, the police, ambulance and firemen were already waiting for us and offered help to those who needed it. And then we waited… one and a half hours. We had to decide whether to get another flight back home or stay in Hamburg overnight. I was shocked but calm and people started the realize all situation later. Here I am at Hamburg airport in Germany:

Finally they said that we have to stay overnight but the worst part was, as it was Tourism Festival in Hamburg, all hotels were booked and we had to take a bus to Lübeck. All right, but it was already midnight! And the ride to Lübeck will take more one and a half hours. But we couldn't do anything else in that situation than follow the suggestion.

Here’s another picture, with Viljar Jaamu, who is the Ex-President of Estonian Tourist Board. And as you see... we are tired and buffeted but at the same time more than happy to be alive:

Anyway, the hotel was lovely and they had been prepared and looked after us with some night snacks. And next day I finally arrived home. So, this time my trip from London to Tallinn lasted 46 hours. What can you do? Such is life!

I’ll come back to you regarding how this all effected my next trip…but meanwhile, there's only ones I can thank this time...

Thank you angels!

Love,

Hannah

Let's take a tour around Estonia's Spa's

Hey!

Our schedule for this week is heavily intensive and I’m trying to cover the all places we visit with Anna. As Estonia is one of the most beautiful places which you must discover and this week I’m spending with British Press Association journalist Anna Ford.

She arrived yesterday evening and I put her into the gorgeous hotel in Tallinn’s old town called Schlössle – you can visit the website http://www.schlossle-hotels.com/schlossle/index.php

Anyway we started our morning by taking the ferry to Saaremaa, which is the biggest island of Estonia with beautiful nature, all island is covered with junipers and the most wonderful spa's.

Our first stop was in Saaremaa Museum situated in Kuressaare Castle – more information:

http://www.saaremaamuuseum.ee/eng/index.php?action=show&type=story&id=1003

Saaremaa Museum was established on 17th February 1865 when the Research Society of Saaremaa (Verein zur Kunde Oesels) was founded in Kuressaare. J. B. Holzmayer, a teacher of classical languages of Kuressaare Gymnasium, did a lot to start and develop the museum. The antiquities found during archaeological excavations organized by Mr. Holzmayer became the basis of the museum.

The collections of the Society were initially located in the building of Kuressaare Gymnasium. In 1892, the museum was in Kuressaare Castle already.

During the first quarter of the century the location of the museum was changed several times. After World War I the museum together with the castle were administered by Saaremaa County Government, from 1934 by Kuressaare City Government. In 1925, the exhibits were finally taken to the rooms of the upper floor of the castle. During World War II part of the exhibits got lost. The museum was reopened to the public in 1947. Today it is one of the most important scientific and cultural institutions in Saaremaa County. After the reconstruction of the castle, new modern exhibitions of Saaremaa's history (1985-1987) and nature (1993) were opened. Besides up to 30 temporary exhibitions, numerous concerts and other cultural events are organized in the museum each year. Every second year the Annals of the Museum are published.
Here are pictures about the beautiful Saaremaa Museum:

Then we had a beautiful lunch in brand new Spa-Hotel Restaurant called Johan Spa, the web address for that place is: http://www.johan.ee/?lang=en

The owner of the Spa, Geidi, did a little tour for us and here is the result, you know, the best way to describe all this is with pictures. Here they are:

Our final destination for this day was Saaremaa Georg Ots Spa: www.gospa.ee

We had amazing time with spa treatments and different pools and of course the fabulous dinner… the food in Estonia is just great!

Anyway, here is the selection of the different activities…

I'm really enjoying the whole tour! See you later!

I’m sending you angels,

Meeting the e-team winner Vahur!

Hello everyone!

So this is it!

This is what I have been most afraid of – no time at all. I thought, sorry, I knew - I’d be busy but I never thought that I wouldn't have any time to myself at all. It’s a funny thing with this blog – every time I’m in the mood to write something, there is no Internet connection or just simply no time to do it. Every time I have just a little time, the words aren't forthcoming and nothing good is comes out. But I think it’s generally just a question of personality - some people live with their feelings, some people hide their feelings and some people share their emotions… and also I know that we all have different periods during our life, which means that sometimes - it can happen to everybody - you are just too tired to give anything out of yourself.

So generally, after Wembley came the busy time when I was much involved with interviews and meetings and everything you already know. Also, we have this funny situation that all the birthdays of my family members are in October or in May. So, I sacrificed some time for the birthdays at the end of the October… which was great! Ofcourse, I love my family!

Now, let's leave the personal life behind and concentrate the main thing. One of the great events took part at the beginning of November, which was dinner of the first month e-team winner! To those who don’t know yet, what is e-team, go and visit my page, it’s worth it! You can visit it by clicking here!

Basically it’s the place for fans who like to help to spread to word about the things I'm doing and about my music and also for those who want to be more involved with my life. Every month there are different prizes for the winner and October’s prize was a dinner with me.

The winner was Vahur Joa, an 18 year old guy, with many interests and generally a very educated, lovely and fun person. We talked about everything. His hobbies are football, films, music and I found out that his mother is baker and he also likes cooking, which - as you might know, I love! But he likes to cook only pastries and cakes… as he admitted as the evening goes by... which is not a bad habit I think. At least you can leave the dessert for somebody else.

He was very keen on everything, which is great I think because now days there are too many young people without any interests and it’s a real pity. So, we enjoyed our dinner and interesting chat together and that again gave me proof that my fans are extraordinary, intelligent and nice people!

Here is a few pictures of my dinner with Vahur:

Vahur with the signed new CD in his hand:

Anyway, it was a great evening and I'm looking forward to meeting the next winner and hope also to be in touch with Vahur in the future!

So, it’s Wednesday, 7th November and my second duty calls – I’m the Ambassador of Estonian Tourism now – which means, that I will introduce Estonia to the world. My very first little project was the British Press Association journalist Anna Ford's visit to Estonia.

Four days full of activity and the story will be mainly about great history of Estonia and Tallinn and about the great spa’s we have in Estonia. It will be exciting!

Follow us - it's worth it!

With love, like always,

Hannah

Wembley!

As I describe in my last blog, my Saturday started very early with BBC London Saturday breakfast Show. After that I went to Wembley to do a sound-check…

And after sound-check I had very successful interview with Sky Sports where I had chance to sing the National Anthem of England. Here I am:

Oh my God! Wembley was huge! I’ll give you few facts about the new Wembley stadium:

With 90,000 seats the new Wembley is the largest football stadium in the world with every seat under cover. There will be NO obstructed views.

The arch is 133 metres above the level of the external concourse.

The stadium roof rises to 52m above the pitch. This compares to the 35m tall Twin Towers of the old stadium.

The new Wembley has a circumference of 1 km.

The London Eye could fit between the top of the arch and the pitch.

The new roof is over 11 acres. Four acres are moveable.

The rows of seating, if placed end to end, would stretch 54 kilometers.

4,000 separate piles form the foundations of the new stadium. The deepest of these, at 35 metres, is as deep as the Twin Towers were tall.

There is 35 miles of heavy-duty power cables in the stadium.

With a span of 315 Metres, the arch is the longest single span roof structure in the world.

With a diameter of 7.4 metres the arch is wide enough for a Channel Tunnel train to run through.

90,000m3 of concrete and 23,000 tonnes of steel has been used in the construction of the new stadium.

The roof alone weigh almost 7,000 tonnes.

At peak construction there is 2,000+ people working on site.

The new pitch is 4 metres lower than the previous pitch.

Each of the two giant screens in new stadium is the size of 600 domestic television sets.

The new Wembley encloses 4,000,000 m3 (cubic metres) inside its walls and under its roof. This is the equivalent of 25,000 double decker buses or 7 billion pints of milk.

The total length of the escalators is the same as a 400 metre running track.

There is 2,618 toilets - which WNSL estimate is more than any other stadium in the world.

There is more leg room in EVERY seat in the new Wembley Stadium than there was in the Royal Box of the old stadium.

I am speechless… it’s impossible to share my emotions. So that why I’ll give you a few more photos...

Backstage:

	Waiting for the Big Moment:

Singing the National anthem of Estonia and National anthem of England:

Anyway, the singing went very well and it was an incredible feeling to sing the Estonian National Anthem with so many Estonian fans and of course singing with England's 84 000 fans…

The game ended with 3:0 and England won the game but I’m truly touched how great our team is and how much they appreciate their fans support. Right after the game, the Estonian team went over to where the Estonian fans were sitting and applauded them. It was beautiful and moving… Thank you!

In the evening Estonian Embassy invited football team, journalist and fans to Estonian House, where we had a little after-party.

It was a great day - a day to remember!!!

Thank you to everybody who supported me!

With love,

Hello!

With the album coming out on Monday, I came to London on Tuesday after some interviews in Estonia.

On Wednesday I had a very nice lunch with the Estonian Ambassador, Dr. Margus Laidre, and the Cultural Attache Reet Remmel and Politicical Affairs Counsellor Eerik Marmei. We talked about my role as an Ambassador of Estonian Tourism and I gave them a little overview of my thoughts on how I can present and introduce Estonia to Britain.

On Wednesday evening we went to Hastings to meet my producer, James McMillan to do a little rehearsal of the anthems in preparation for singing them at Wembley. After rehearsals, we celebrated the album release & toasted our successful partnership in the studio. James, like always, was so lovely and we had really great time together!

On Thursday I spent the day with my stylist, Marina, looking for accessories. In the afternoon I had a phone interview with one of Estonia’s biggest radio stations. Then I had a meeting with Nadia from the FA to finalize all the details for my Wembley performance. After that I went to Wembley to meet some journalists and had a photo session outside the stadium.

Friday morning I had an interview at Avenue 11 internet TV station. We talked about Wembley and the album release amongst other things. I had an interview with them in May also, so it's always good to keep contact with those people. Well, afternoon I had an interview with Hawksbee & Jacobs on Talksport Radio. This was lots of fun, they ran a competition to win a signed shirt & scarf. One picture with them:

After my interview on TalkSport, the next guest was Martin Fray, the lead singer in ABC & also one of my all time heroes! I love his lyrics, voice & particularly the string arrangements in his songs. It was a real honor to meet him & I seized the opportunity to have my picture taken with him:

Yesterday evening we meet with security & other people who’ll be involved today. All week I was shadowed by Dr K, who you might remember from the behind the scenes video, as he’s working on a documentary about me.

This morning, I woke up 6.00, I was on Weekend Breakfast with JoAnne Good and Baylen Leonard on BBC London. I did two songs live in the studio and must say... actually moved JoAnne to tears. It’s always nice to go back there and see all the familiar faces. They, like everyone around me today, were more nervous than me about my singing at Wembley! Here's a picture with lovely JoAnne and Baylen:

Here I am now at Wembley with my hairstylist Holly and stylist Marina, last preparations for performance!

Hello!

It is an honour to be Ambassador For Estonian Tourism in the UK.

Yes, exactly this title was given to me by Estonian Enteprises who co-work with welcometoestonia.com and visitestonia.com. So what does that that actually mean for me?

I’m representing my home country anyway, in interviews, during my radio tour, I talked about Estonia a lot.
UK Radio Tour – the last day

Hey!

I’m feeling extremely sleepy today, I had just a few hours sleep, but as it is my last day and I’ll be home by the evening – I'll definitely survive.

My first interview is with Bernie Keith at BBC Northampton.

Oh, Bernie, Bernie, Bernie – I found a lovely photo about you at the reception and you absolutely refused to give it to me. But! You we’re the only person during the whole week, who had researched Estonia and the way you said few sentences in Estonian – well, that was really impressive! Thank you for that, you were perfect! Here is lovely Bernie:

10.00 AM interview with Lawrence John from Northapmton Post. Amongst all kind of questions, he asked me: „If you have to describe your album with one color, which it would be?“ Well, that is the interesting one. What do you think? My answer was white mixed strongly with golden. This is my opinion but of course we all see things differently.

We drive towards to Ipswich and this is now going to be my last interview on this tour. Stephen Foster from BBC Ipswich. We talked about music and singing and football and as he is passionate about football I gave him an Estonian Football Team signed T-shirt – he was very pleased.

So, this was the end of this radio tour! I have exactly three hours to reach to the airport and I’m flying back to Estonia this evening. There was a huge traffic jam on the highway, it’s Friday evening but I’m sure, I’ll make it!

01.20AM HOME!!! My dogs and cats and little kitten Mimi – all were waiting for me. I’m sooo happy that everything went so well with this tour. I thank my great team who did this journey with me – Neil, Ander, Steve, Karl and a big hug for Billy-Bob (you have to read through all my blogs to find out who he is;)).

With love,

Hannah

UK Radio Tour Day 4

Hi!

It’s Tuesday, 27th September, my fourth day of UK radio tour and I feel great!

I had a very good sleep in Manchester and I’m ready to rock n roll!

It’s going to be very busy day with five interviews – so, let’s start!

9.20 Live phone interview with Andy Burrows at BBC Cambridge – oh, he forced me to sing the national anthems… but, as I was in the car, I couldn’t stand up, so I had to meet his request.

10.30 we arrived at Tamworth to have an interview with Dave James at Touch FM Tamworth.

It's a lovely little city and even much more lovely was Dave, with whom I had a really great conversation…. About the single, the album, my musical back-round, about weather in Estonia – which, by the way, has been awesome – around 20 degrees. We talked about Estonia a lot, I love this topic. Why? I have always loved my home-country, but now – even more, it is the real pleasure to introduce Estonia because just a few weeks before my tour, EAS gave me the title - Ambassador of Estonian Tourism – which mean that I am now officially presenting and introducing Estonia. This is a great honour! We also talked about football – so who’s going to win on 13th October in Wembley? Estonia or England – well, that’s the question.

Anyway, here's a lovely picture with Dave James from Touch FM Tamworth:

1.30 Birmingham, interview with Paul Franks at BBC Birmingham. I have been in his show during my last tour at the beginning of the June and it’s great to go back and meet the people who you already know and who support you. About Paul - At 6' 5", with blonde hair, blue-eyes and big, big hands and feet - the not so hard-to-miss Paul is the Drivetime Show host.

Born in the back of an ambulance travelling through Sutton Coldfield in 1957, it was already evident that Paul couldn't wait to get out into the big wide world.

Education followed at King Edwards school in Aston, Birmingham, before his presenting career started with sports programmes at what was then BBC Radio Birmingham.

'Franksy' is married with twins and lives near Evesham.

As well as the Drivetime Show, Paul handles the Friday football phone-in (6 - 8pm) and oversees the sporting action from 2 'til 6pm on BBC WM's Soccer Saturday.

Here is one picture with Paul Franks:

Next – two hours drive to Cardiff – again, a place I adore. If you remember, BBC Cardiff was my last destination during my last radio tour and the interview with comedian Chris Corcoran went extremely well. This time I’ll be interviewed by Alan Thompson.

7.00 Cardiff, live phone interview with Sue Marchant, who is a keen on gardening, roses and dogs – so we a bit of chat about all that. My dogs miss me, I know they do… and I can’t imagine what my baby-cat Mimi will organize, when I'll arrive home? The day before I left Estonia, she actually tried to take a bath, my bath – it was her first experience with water… and probably the last one.

Anyway, Sue, from BBC South was lovely – it is quite rare to chat with women, all BBC presenters have been male ones. The reason? I don’t know. Sue also asked me… if I can have a totally free night, what shall I do with that? Well, let' see...

7.30 Soundcheck for live performance in BBC Cardiff.

So, Alan Thompson – well, it was a pretty interesting one because at the beginning I couldn’t figure out his character totally. He seemed for me soooo serious… but hey! We all have our weaker side, don’t we? And his weakness is music. He has been singer and guitar-player in a band and he is very passionate about music.

I enjoyed that interview enormously! And you see – he loved my football scarf, here’s picture with Alan:

It is 9.50 PM and we have a long drive ahead, about three hours. We’re going to Northampton to start early in the morning again!

It’s night, I’m looking out of the window and see a lovely little fox eating the grass. Reminds me my female dog – Yoko! Oh, I miss my pets….

Sweet dreams to everybody,

Hannah

Hi!

As promised – my emotions about England country life – adorable! I love it! I absolutely love it! I spent a night close to Hayfield, in very traditional English-style little country hotel called Waltzing Weasel. To be even more aware of being countryside, I visited Billie-Bob this morning before my first interview. So, how is Billie-Bob, you probably ask? Billie-Bob is a goose. He belongs to my regional radio plugger Neil, to whom I owe the greatest thank you. Neil has organized this radio tour and has been perfect company during these days. Here is lovely Billie-Bob with his big family:

This morning started with interview at Peak 107 Chesterfield with Chris Buckley. He was a lovely person and we had a very good chat about the country life in Estonia and England, animal welfare, things I would change about the world… I would stop the violence. Well, it is difficult, but I would definitely stop the seal hunt. You know, there are things what we sometimes must do when one population is growing and growing… but there is always a humane way to do it – and now I’m really not talking about seals because thanks to the global warming, seals life is anyway harder then ever. Have you seen the documentary about seal hunting? It is the most horrible thing I have ever seen in my life. To find out find how to help seals and other animals, visit www.ifaw.com

So, that was little piece about the worry I’m carrying in my heart every day… and I’m glad that we discuss this topic with Chris. Here we are:

So next location – the hometown of Beatles – yeah! LIVERPOOL!

I’ve never been in Liverpool before and that town really impressed me. There was lot of construction work going on, because Liverpool will be the Capital of Culture 2008. But despite all that, I really love Liverpool and I enjoyed enormously the time we spent there.

We arrived to BBC Merseyside at 1.15PM to do ISDN interview with Nick Robins from BBC Stoke. After that I did a little sound-check and… after that - the Billy Butler show! Oh wow! Billy has spent nearly 30 years in local and national radio and has become one of the country's most popular and entertaining presenters. During a very successful TV career, he presented several hit TV shows including BBC1's trivia programme 'FAX' and the magazine programme 'What the Butler Sees'.

Something for everyone...

The afternoon show includes music from across the board, featuring not just well known artists but local talent too. There are also regular phone-ins, guests, competitions and comedy all presented in Billy's unique way.

When Billy's not entertaining thousands of listeners, you're likely to see him at your local car boot sale. He's an avid collector of records, comics, sheet music, TV and Radio Times magazines and old TV show videos. His other great passion is Everton Football Club, but always "football fan first, Evertonian second."

His original, and energetic style has earned him countless fans and awards. Most notably Billy has been the winner of five Scouseology awards and his popular radio quiz show 'Hold Your Plums' was a Sony Bronze award winner.

Every weekday afternoon The Billy Butler show offers a lot of laughs, great music and entertainment.

Billy is on air Monday - Friday 2pm-5.00pm and every Saturday morning from 9.30am-12pm.

This man is a legend!

I did three songs in live with the beautiful grand piano at BBC Merseyside and had the most wonderful conversation with Billy, who was soooo supportive and amazing! He is one of that type of person who just make you feel so warm and welcome. Here is Billy and his famous live show:

The all show was also filmed by Karl… or Dr.K – as he like to call himself. We are doing the documentary movie about the tour, what you probably see very soon. And, Karl was also introducing me little bit of Liverpool, because it is his hometown, so I had a time and chance to visit the Cavern Club for example.

Anyway, it was a great day, I’m really pleased with my live performance and the great opportunity to visit, among all others, Billy’s show.

I will spend my night in Manchester to start tomorrow, early morning from Tamworth.

I wish you sweet dreams and love,

Hannah

It is Tuesday morning, I spent the night at Newcastle and it's going to be a busy day today – starting with a live interview with David White from BBC Cornwall.

We talked about the album which is coming out 8th of October and my new single – I See, which is also released in UK is also 8th of October. Of course the really big issue now is my singing at Wembley – this was the hot topics discussed during my recent interviews. And… lots of other stuff too! I find all the presenters extremely nice and interesting – they are so keen to know more and more about Estonia, it's history, culture, my music, my background – and I’m pleased to let them know everything! Hey! That’s why I’m touring.

Anyway – one of the most interesting encounters was with Alan Robson from Metro FM Newcastle. Alan Robson is a legend! What can you say about the man who is Britain's Most Listened to phone in host Alan Robson MBE? He began his career in local rock bands and stand up comedy before becoming the North's best known and most popular radio broadcaster

Alan's Night Owl's programme has been market leader, the most listened to show of its kind in Britain for over 20 years. The show has won over 30 national and international awards including in 2005 the prestigious New York Radio Award for Worlds Best Talk Show.

On radio Alan is known for doing outrageous as ground breaking shows that no one else can do. Alan has starred in fifteen different local TV series including Robson’s Place, Robson's Personal Call, College Cuisine, Alan Robson Show on Tyne Tees/Yorkshire. Nationally in Getting Personal on ITV and SKY, Lost&Found and Trouble In Store on BBC1. He has carried out documentaries including a series talking to murderers also for BBC1.

For the past few years he has worked on America's biggest TV network ABC. Alan has written four books, two of them best sellers

He also had two columns in the Sunday Sun for 11 years, and currently writes for English speaking newspapers across the world. The News of The World serialised his ghost stories for six weeks. He also wrote a rock page for the Hong Kong Star for five years.

Alan has written and starred in numerous pantomimes across the North and hosted gigs for Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Guns'n'Roses, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Bryan Adams and hundreds of others. He is considered the King of The Roadshow and performs at over 100 events annually, mostly for charity.

Alan is also a Trustee for Metro Radio's charity JUST FOR KIDS, President of Guide Dogs For The Blind, Patron of three Hospices, Patron of MIND, and Body Positive (AIDS HIV Trust) and 24 other great causes, Alan is very busy. Up to date he has raised £18.4 million pounds and makes a difference in peoples lives every single night.

He was given the title of FREEMAN OF BENWELL, the very first time this honour had been given to anyone. He was also given an MBE by the Queen for services to broadcasting. In the Millenium Dome they featured radio presenters, the best in the history of British Radio, Alan was the only presenter featured TWICE, once for being a LOCAL HERO and secondly for being Britain's Best Late Night Radio Personality.

Well, I must say, I’m out of words! Besides all that you just read about Alan, he is a great great person, lovely man with a very good sense of humour. I have been on his show before, I enjoyed it last time and I enjoyed it even more this time. He is just a lovely man to talk to. I know that he has more crazy plans for the future… but, we’ll see… And – as we really had a good time at studio with Alan, here is even two pictures with him:

My next stop will be the town called Hull – which in Estonian means "Crazy!"

We arrive to Hull little bit before 8.00PM to have an live interview with James Hoggarth from BBC Hull. Well, he was a very interesting fellow and I had a very nice conversation with him about fame naturally. He was keen to understand the feeling that if you have been successful in your home country, how difficult is to start all over again in next country. Yes, same work, touring, performing, promoting… but in some way, easier – because this time you are more wiser and you won't make any mistakes. You live, you learn – don’t you think?

Anyway, here is a picture, taken with James Hoggarth at BBC Hull:

So, next to Hayfield – I’m going to spend my night in the middle of beautiful England’s country side. I will share my emotions about that with you tomorrow!

Good night my dear ones,

UK Radio Tour Day 1

Hi my dear friends!

As you already know, I was touring last week - a radio tour in Scotland and England. It was a very busy, exciting and exhausting week all at the same time, filled with great emotions, many new contacts and personalities.

I landed Sunday evening in Glasgow, Scotland and started early on Monday morning. We drove up to Ayr to have a live interview with Jack Bennie at West Sound. I wonder why I always start my tour from Scotland? It's like torturing myself with the lovely Scottish accent - Well, ok – it was better this time, I completely understood everything! And God, how I love this country, how I love the nature of Scotland, the mountains, thousands of sheep's – I just love it!

Anyway, here’s one picture with my first interviewer – Jack Bennie from West Sound, Ayr, Scotland:

After interview with Matt Bendoris from The Scottish Sun newspaper, I went back to my hotel because I had organized a little surprise for one of my Myspace friends – I asked my sweet and lovely friend – Peter – to have a lunch with me. I care about my friends, I care about my fans, they are the most important thing to me and why not have a nice chat with somebody who is my friend and living in Glasgow? So, there he was - Peter, writer, great person, lovely friend. You know, it is difficult to describe this meeting, because he is such a great person and we had so much to talk about! I will definitely repeat the same tradition next time I visit the next country – so, be prepared! There can be an e-mail for you any time!

Here is one picture with Peter:

Peter told me that from this moment I'll start to see signs coming my way! He said that he prays for my musical success and guess what – I have seen five signs already, he was right!

So, I continued my journey and drive up to Smooth Radio, Glasgow to have an interview with Mark Hutton. Lovely character, very nice person, we did the show called 6 to 6 where I had to choose my favorite six songs from the list and describe them. Want to know my choice?

1. Frank Sinatra, My Way – I think I even don’t have to explain why this one is my favorite, because I am a great fan of Sinatra and I basically love all his songs.

2. ABC, Poison Arrow – well, this is the interesting choice – don’t you think? I think ABC have the most beautiful and interesting string arrangements of all time. I particularly love their last albums' overture.

3. Phil Collins, Two Hearts – Collins has also been my favorite since I was a little girl. He’s songs are incredible!

4. Michael Bublé, Home – I just love that song! No reason, just love it! And Michael Bublé’s voice – in that point, I’m speechless.

Two other songs we’re mine – I See and Everything Is Changing. Here is a picture with Mark Hutton from Smooth Radio, Glasgow:

What next? Three hours drive to Newcastle and early start tomorrow!

More news as soon as an internet connection is available!

With love,

Hannah

My blog on Wednesday evening from rainy Estonia

Hello!

My last blog ended with my vacation in France.

So, lots has happened in the meantime. Of course my first operation was – Bringing MIMI to Estonia.

She is an amazing little cat, it is indescribable how calm and sweet she was in the car, on the plane and after the long seven hour journey she still put her two little paws around my neck and started to purr! I really adore her!

As you already know – the news about Wembley is now out. And I’ll really performing the national anthems of both Estonia and England at the England v Estonia UEFA European Championship qualifier at Wembley on October 13th. Yes, the tickets are sold out and there’s going to be 90 000 people to watch the game. You can also follow it on TV. It is really awesome news for me and I hope that everything goes well that evening.

I’m in Estonia now, just for couple more days and them I'm flying to Scotland this week to start my new radio tour in Scotland and in UK. That means – five days, fifteen cities, over twenty radio interview’s and… lot of driving. I really hope that you have the chance to listen to some of the shows and give me your full support. You know, the support from my friends and fans is the most important to me. And! By the way – I have many surprises with me during the radio tour – so it is worth tuning in – I can guarantee that!

After the radio tour, finally, the most important day in the year for me – my album „Everything Is Changing“ is released on 8th October. God, I have waited for this day! So, stay with me, take care yourself and I’ll try to do my best to give you full report about my radio tour as soon as possible.

With love, love, love,

Hannah

My Summer Blog

Hi there!

I have this very bad habit…I actually think this is the only one – to disappear for few weeks. I’ll try to work on that one, ok?

So, now I’m ready to give you a full report about my summer.

After my I See video shoot I stayed in Cannes to promote the single for the French market. I enjoyed the most perfect summer weather on earth! And that was not all… you already know how crazy I am about cats… a French one latched onto me. So there was nothing else to do – I domesticated her. With the name MIMI.

And now I have a real French cat with a real French temper! She is just adorable.

Here is MIMI:

And here is the little tired tiger... still MIMI:

Anyway… at the beginning of the August I stayed in Estonia for two weeks to see my relatives and friends and of course… my other lovely pets. I had been gone for one and a half months and a few of my pets were little resentful towards me. Well, the dogs were perfect, they always are, but cats… they have their moods and they simply have to show you their temper. Yes! And that why I love them!

So, Estonia was beautiful, I visited a few radio shows to give them the lowdown on my video shoot experience. Estonian radio has welcomed my second single I See very warmly and I’m truly happy about that!

During those weeks we finished the final artwork for the album, we worked on the EPK for I See, made many plans for the album launch and all kinds of other important issues were discussed … so much is actually going on and I can’t tell you everything… yet. But soon, I promise, this is the first place to come to get all the latest information about me.

Meanwhile, my brother turned 30 and we had a lovely birthday party in our summerhouse, close to the sea. Estonia is actually so so beautiful, there are many lovely little places which are really worth discovering.

And then there was a football match - Estonia v Andorra, which was a really funny game. Our team played very well and won the game. So I was very happy about that!

Just a day before I left Estonia a I had a great surprise – a really good review about my album – you can read it here

And now I’m back in France again. The sun here is still so hot that I nearly burned myself one day. I know that this is now my last vacation before the album release and there is not going to be very much time for relaxing in the future. But hey! I want that! I have waited so long and I’m so indescribably happy that my dream is finally coming true! A radio tour in the UK and a radio tour In France and a concert in Paris are the next steps…

Stay with me… I will write again… very soon!

With love,

Hannah

Hi,

It's second day of the
I See video shoot and today's first scene was a driving scene featuring a wild black beauty called MB SLK.

As we were shooting the video, many people stopped to watch the action and took photos.

Here I am with my new French fan and here is my lovely photographer Stina and here is Karl, President of my Fan Club

The next location was Cannes Old Town and it was really beautiful. You get a sense of the real France there. Small and narrow little streets, lots of flowers on the balconies, sweet old Frenchman sitting on the stairs and so on. And cats - two of them really wanted to be included to the pictures:

Anyway, the second location for the video shoot: the Old Town

	Making the video

It was long day, but a very exciting one. I'm so proud of my team, because they were real professionals and made everything so easy for me. Everything went better than I expected and I'm truly pleased with the result. You'll have a chance to see the EPK of the making the video very soon and the video will be available to watch from the beginning of August.

I'm going to have a little rest now and talk to you again tomorrow.

Sweet dreams,

Hannah

Hey,

So the first day is finished, I woke up 6.30AM for hair and make-up. The first scene was on the beach between Cannes and Saint-Tropez. It was an amazingly hot summer day and we shot first scene on the coast and the next one in the water, which was such relief for me – cold water felt so good after the burning sun. And I felt so sorry for my team – half of them looked very red by the time of next scene. But hey - a little less conversation, a little more action, please…“. The best way to describe the situation is to see. Here are the pictures:

Preparing for second scene

And the third scene was taken up on the hill with a gorgeous sunset

Hi,

I’m in Cannes to shoot my next video –
I See.

I See is my first single in France and second single in UK and it’s going to be released on 20th August 2007.

It’s Friday evening and all my team has arrived, a very international one this time – two guys from UK – Karl, President of my Fanclub and Richard, my marketing and promotion manager; Jean-Michel from Paris, Snowdog Records France;
I See video director Ove from Estonia; Ricardo - DOP from Portugal; CJ Kask the cameraman; Andrus DOP assistant and gaffer Hanno from Estonia, also two guys from Germany - Ollie, gaffer assistant and Anatoli - DOP second assistant.

Today we talked again about the "story" of the video and checked the final locations. I spent some time with my make-up artist Eva, who is from Poland but lives in Nice and Medge – my location manager was around all the time. Anyway – it’s going to be very busy but very exciting two days and I’m ready to rock'n roll!

Love,

Hi,

My schedule has been very tight after Saint-John’s Day.

I went over to Cannes 28th on June to checking the places for my next video shoot. We drove with my video director along the coast of Cannes to Saint-Tropez and also up to the mountains and decided all places where we going to shoot next video – I See. As I See is the first single for French market, I think it’s very good idea to shoot the video there and I’m sure it’s going to be very cool few days. Anyway, first day of July found me in London, because one very lovely person from my team had a 50th birthday and for that she organized a huge party. Amanda, you looked so happy and absolutely gorgeous in that day! Here is one picture for you:

And as you probably know about terror attacks in England, I was very happy to leave the country next day. Anyway, it was 4th July and I was enjoying French Riviera’s beauty and warmness when the most terrible evening in my life started. I was situated in Cannes-Mandelieu, sitting on the balcony and basically followed how all this beautiful nature was burning. Mountain after the mountain and for the first time in my life I was so terrified. It was one of the biggest forest fire in that area. Flames fanned by high winds reached up to 60ft high as the blaze tore through 3,000 acres of parched woodland behind the beach resort of Mandelieu-la-Napoule. Around 2,500 people were evacuated from six campsites and scores of holiday homes to council buildings along the coast, which has not seen any significant rainfall since April. Firefighters supported by Canadair water-bombing aircraft took 12 hours to contain the massive blaze, which experts believe could have been started by a car catching fire after an accident on the A8 coastal motorway. The fire damaged three campsites and threatened several others.

Five people were reported to have been injured in the blaze, many people had time to grab a few possessions and left quickly in their cars. But others have lost everything.

To give you a clue, how dreadful it all was I show you a few pictures:

1. This is the beautiful and sunny morning, but huge wind and very warm weather:

2. The fire started quite far from my location but water-bombing aircrafts started to fly over our roof:

3. 4th July afternoon when the next mountain was on fire:

4. Evening, fire was coming closer and closer and for that time all my things were already packed – just for case we have to evacuate:

5. Fire was basically few blocks from my place and only thing I did was pray:

And angels were with me that night, because firefighters managed to put out the fire, but the mountains around me were glowing even the next day.

I’m still in shock to be honest and will write about my next plans in my next blog…

Thank you God and firefighters who are the bravest people in the world.

Hannah

Saint-John's Day in Estonia

Hello,

It’s evening, 22th June and weather in Estonia is beautiful and warm. Everybody's waiting for tomorrow evening when Estonians celebrate Victory Day and Saint-John’s Day.

Võidupüha or Victory Day is an Estonian public holiday, which has been celebrated on 23 June every year since 1934 until 1939 and after the restoration of Estonian independence in 1992. Victory Day recalls the decisive battle during the War of Independence in which the Estonian military forces and their allies defeated the German forces who sought to re-assert Baltic-German control over the region. Today, Võidupüha also marks the contributions of all Estonians in their fight to regain and retain their independence. While the significance of the victory at Võnnu is not forgotten, Võidupüha is now a day on which the efforts of all those who have fought for Estonia’s independence throughout history are remembered. Võidupüha is also a day of remembrance. It is a day when the thousands who fell fighting for an independent Estonia are commemorated. Võidupüha recalls the Estonian tradition of fighting for democracy and freedom.

Since the victory at Cēsis, the ideals of independence and freedom have been linked to the traditional bonfires that have been lit all over Estonia since ancient times to celebrate the shortest night of summer (called Jaaniõhtu in Estonian). On Jaaniõhtu, the sun sets only for a couple of hours. The tradition continues today: Victory Day together with St John’s day (24 June) is the most important summer holiday for Estonians. The Victory flame lit by the President early in the morning on 23 June is carried to every county to light bonfires at night. The state flags remain at full mast for the two days through the dim light of the Nordic white nights.

Understandably, some of the rituals of Jaanipäev have very strong folklore roots. The best-known Jaanik, or midsummer, ritual is the lighting of a bonfire and jumping over it. This is seen as a way of guaranteeing prosperity and avoiding bad luck. Likewise, to not light the fire is to invite the destruction of your house by fire. The fire also frightened away mischievous spirits who avoided it at all costs, thus ensuring a good harvest. So, the bigger the fire, the further the mischievous spirits stayed away. Midsummer's eve is important for lovers. In Estonian fairy tales and literature there is the tale of two lovers, Koit (dawn) and Hämarik (dusk). These two lovers see each other only once a year and exchange the briefest of kisses on the shortest night of the year. Earth-bound lovers go into the forest looking for the flower of the fern which is said to bloom only on that night. Also on this night, single people can follow a detailed set of instructions to see whom they are going to marry. On Jaaniõhtu, Estonians all around the country will gather with their families, or at larger events to celebrate this important day with singing and dancing, as Estonians have done for centuries.

I’m planning to stay with my family and friends because I see them so rarely. My further plans comprise lot’s of travel – next week to Cannes and at the beginning of the July I’m back to London again. So I will let you know about my plans.

Lots of kisses from Estonia,

Hannah

TalkSport interview with James Whale

Hello,

I’m back in London after three days visit to Tallinn for a radio interview with James Whale on TalkSport radio.

James Whale is legendary TalkSport presenter, the outspoken and self-righteous late night king who has developed a cult following over the years with his confrontational style that would have Attila the Hun running for the hills.

James loves nothing more than verbally assaulting callers on his late night phone-ins and it seems people on the other end of the line can’t get enough as we’ve gone through eight switchboards in the last two years.

The late night mouth-of-the-south started his career at Metro Radio in Newcastle, before going on to cause many a producer loss of sleep at Radio Tees and Radio Aire Leeds.

He also made his first break into television with The James Whale Debate in which voices were never raised and toys never thrown from prams as he chaired live studio discussions on religious and moral issues.

In 1993 he moved back to his native London to present Whale On for London Weekend Television, and 1995 saw the launch of The James Whale Show, which became cult late night viewing for millions. James has won three Sony Radio Awards. He has also written a book "Bald on Top" inspired by his own premature hair loss.

So about the show – there were many disturbing things like keyboard instead of piano and quite week sound-engineer and also microphones were meant to be for talking not for singing… to be totally honest with you, it wasn’t my favorite situation. But after several letters and good feedback from listeners – I think we did quite well and learn again about how to make things always better.

Here is James Whale after the show:

With love,

Hannah

Hi,

Yesterday evening was great!

It started with amazing surprise – BBC Radio 2 Chris Evans was playing You
Are – and this was huge thing for me!

Chris Evans is one of Britain's high-profile and successful presenters.

Chris started his broadcasting career at Piccadilly Radio then moved to GLR, where his infamous Round at Chris' Saturday morning show attracted a huge cult following and he later took the format to Virgin 1215. A stint on the short-lived BSB Channel, The Power Station allowed Chris time to hone his presenting technique, until Channel 4 opted for a different type of early morning show with The BIG Breakfast. Chris dived into the nation's mornings in September 1992, spearheading the morning extravaganza alongside Gaby Roslin. From the first sitting, his name became synonymous with the television story of the decade and within weeks The BIG Breakfast topped 2 million viewers. Chris' years on the show made him a national star.

In 1993, Chris formed his own company called Ginger Productions to formulate a brand new variety show for Saturday nights, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush. Devised, written and performed by Chris, the ratings peaked at a combined 6 million viewers.

With Chris at its helm, Ginger Productions fast became one of the major players in entertainment production. Under the Ginger banner, Chris produced and presented a second series of Don't Forget Your Toothbrush revitalized BBC Radio One with his Radio One Breakfast Show before bowing out to concentrate on his unique end-of-the-week TV show on Channel 4, TFI Friday. TFI ran for 5 years, before finishing on 22nd December 2000 with a show hosted by Elton John.

Recently Chris has presented the breakfast show on UK Radio Aid’s day of programming for the victims of the Asian Tsunami. He also presented two programmes on BBC Radio 2 over the 2005 Easter Bank holiday and the 2005 edition of the Brit Awards and Comic Relief 2005. Chris joined Radio 2 to present his regular Saturday afternoon show in 2005 and moved on to presenting the Drivetime show in April 2006.

Anyway...

I was hosting an event in one traditional English pub in London for media/TV/radio people. First came my performance which went very well and after that we watched together the game. The result 3:0 was not the greatest thing for Estonia but I think our team was playing quite well – look who’s talking? Football and me? Don’t fit together very well. But at least Beckham is now visited Estonia and I know that very many fans were waiting for him. The good thing was also that there were not any fights during or after the game – so I’m very happy that everybody was so civilised. Here’s also few pictures made during yesterday’s event.

Thanks for the great time!

I'm back in London this Sunday for Talksport Radio interview with James Whale. It's on air Sunday, 10th June at 23.30, listen live.

Lots of love,

Hannah

Estonia-England football

So here’s the answer!

It’s 6th June 10.20 it's very important day for England and also for Estonia. After leaving Estonia I was very relieved with my decision to come to London because 3500 English football fan is big amount for little Tallinn. And they were everywhere enjoying themselves! Did you know that according the calculation those fans will leave 20-million krone's to Estonia (1 pound is 23 krone's)?

So I’m here for three reasons – two radio interview’s and evening event with performance and football.

Let’s start with first two – BFBS Forces Radio and TalkSport Radio.

BFBS went on air at the end of 1943 when an experimental Forces Radio station was opened in a harem in Algiers. Since then, its two networks have broadcast from 20 countries and 67 radio stations to a total of 200 million listeners around the world.

13.15

It was great to meet finally a female presenter - Hermina Campbell. The Hermina Campbell Show is on air 11.00-14.00 UK time every weekday. She brings a mixture of chat and celebrity guests with a firm emphasis on fun and entertainment.

Hermina's first foray into the media was during her work experience week at school. Harbouring ambitions of one day being a foreign correspondent she secured a place with the ‘Marlborough Times'. Her reporting style, it was suggested would be more appropriate to a tabloid! Not deterred, during a year in the South of France for her degree, she talked her way into a French Radio Station and on to air. Talking for a living…she had discovered her dream job!

Before joining BFBS, Hermina worked for the BBC World Service and the Falkland Islands Broadcasting Station.

You can listen her show here:

And here we are also with the producer of the show:

After that a quick drive to next radio called TalkSport, what is new and interesting experience because we're going to talk about sport! As today is football match and everybody in England are only talking about that, I was very well prepared! To be totally honest with you – I’m not so big fan of football. I was following few games last year during the time I was in France and it was very interesting because France was playing against Portugal and won and their celebrations were huge and they were soooo happy! But now, as I don’t know much about football, I needed help. Thank God I have a brother – a very lovely one and luckily he’s working as a TV presenter on Estonia’s Sport TV. So he made for me a beautiful two pages review about football.

And I’m feeling myself very educated! Bad thing for Estonia is with today’s play that two our best players couldn’t play and I’m sure that would little bit affect the result. But let’s see and let’s keep our fingers grossed!

So anyway, the show I’m going called PAUL HAWKSBEE & ANDY JACOBS SHOW.

Paul Hawksbee and Andy Jacobs became friends in 1998 when Andy invited Paul to join the team on ITV’s Fantasy World Cup. Andy had watched as much old football as was humanly possible during the 50-plus shows he’d produced for Baddiel Skinner and thought he could do with some company.

Paul and Andy’s job was to give the two sofa-bound satirists some of the ammunition to help them fire the bullets. David and Frank will happily tell anyone who’ll listen how frequently they missed the target. They first appeared on our airwaves in the summer of 1999 on 505 and despite our best efforts to pretend we’d relocated, they somehow sneaked in through the back door and we’ve been stuck with them ever since. The boys are also known for their vast collection of talkSPORT gaffes. More about TalkSport.

I’ll continue my blog after the interview – OK!

15.20

So yeah, here I am now after the interview – and can you imagine – we were not talking about sport at all!!! Because the presenters were very happy to finally talk about something else (like music or Estonia) and so it went. But anyway it went very well, here we are:

17.55

An evening event starts after an hour; I’ll catch you again tomorrow.

Have a lovely evening with football – but don’t forget, everything happens for the reason…

Love,

Hannah

Hey,

It’s Monday morning and I’m back in Tallinn. I had a good rest after my radio tour, I must say, it was quite exhausting but still at the same time great fun. Today’s plan is GARDENING! Oh, I love my garden, it’s so beautiful already – roses blossom and all plants have new leaves on. It’s one of my favorite times of the year because everything is so fresh!

Anyway, my myspace environment has grown enormously, go and check it out:

It’s funny how quickly you get used to traveling and packing, so I’m thinking shall I repack my suitcase at all because I’m going to London tomorrow. Why?

Come back to see my next blog.

With great gardening mood (fingers a bit with soil…),

Hi,

What a beautiful day in Swindon! Summer is finally back in England and I’m so glad about it because when I left Tallinn on 29th May, we had +31ºC – really hot weather!

Well then, Mark Seaman from BBC Swindon – my first interview with him this morning went extremely well, his was such a nice and genial man. We had long and interesting conversation about Estonian history and also about charity in Estonia. We chatted about my single and my first international album that’s going to be released in September 2007. One picture with Mark:

After lovely and sunny Swindon we arrived in Cardiff, Wales, at 13.00.

Wales is definitely one of my favorite parts of UK, I really love Cardiff. I had a little time to take a tour around the town and it’s beautiful. It really is, like all the rest of the Wales.

OK, live interview with Chris Corcoran. My last one with this tour… and it turned to be the funniest one. Why? Here’s a little bit more about Chris:

Chris Corcoran is a Welsh comedian and television/radio presenter. Originally a teacher, his recent TV credits include fronting the Six Nations (Rugby) coverage for BBC Wales, "Big Welsh Joke", "Little Welsh Joke" and "The Full Pontyfringe". He is also a regular on BBC Radio Wales.

He is well known amongst younger viewers for the Cbeebies show Doodle Do, and provided the voice of Miss Bunny on CBBC's Nelly Nut.

His comedy has a decidedly Welsh flavour - in 2004 his solo Edinburgh Fringe show was entitled Welsh Assembly. He is a regular on the UK comedy circuit, performing at venues including the Comedy Store and the Jongleurs chain of clubs. He has also worked as a warm-up man for BBC recordings.

Here we are with Chris:

We agreed before the interview that we are not discuss about usual questions or topics and he will hit me with few very silly and unusual ones. There’s nothing much to say, you just have to listen the show. I enjoyed it enormously!

Here is the BBC Radio Wales show team:

Thank you guys, you made my day! And I also listened the radio after my interview and heard how Chris ate the Estonian chocolate and tasted the Estonian liqueur Kännukukk. That was sweet!

Anyway, I’m way off to London now and I had just amazingly fabulous few days. I want to thank all the interviewers whose shows I’ve been on and everyone who helped me with the tour. Special thanks to Neil, Ander and Steve.

Cheers,

Hannah

Hey,

Back in action again, had a really good sleep this night after busy day yesterday. We arrived to Sheffield yesterday evening and started early morning with BBC Radio Sheffield. First I did live ISDN interview with Bernie Keith at BBC Northampton then ISDN interview with Pat Marsh at BBC Kent.

I also had live interview with Howie at BBC Sheffield – what a nice man! He got quite emotional when we listen the song. And he also like romantic comedies like „Notting Hill“ – so similar to me. Anyway, I had a really good chat with him. Here we are with Howie:

After Howie’s show game pre-recorded ISDN interview with Richard Green at BBC Devon. By the way, radio Devon choose my song – You Are – as the single of the week – which is awesome! Thank you Richard and keep going to play the song!

Well and now we’re driving to Birmingham and after that to Nottingham. It’s raining in England but it’s quite warm weather.

OK, we arrived to Birmingham BBC, it’s a huge building with lots of shops in and radio station on the 7th floor. On 15.00 interview with Paul Franks at Radio BBC Birmingham. We had a interesting conversation about football because as you know there’s going to be big event next Wednesday, 6th of June – a football match between Estonia and England and it’s in Tallinn. So let’s keep our fingers grossed! For me it’s not easy topic, because first of all I don’t like to take sides and to be totally honest – I’m not so keen on football. Anyway, it all went well with Paul and here we are, happy after the show:

So next and final interview today was with Dean Jackson at BBC Nottingham, really interesting and serious man, loved the single and find it very catchy. He said that once you’ve heard the song You Are, you can’t get it out of your mind anymore. He’s show is online on Saturday evening and is one of the most popular shows. He has done the show for years now and really love his job. Here we are with Dean:

I’m amazed how different people are and I must say at the beginning of my radio-tour I was quite worried that all the interviews can be too similar and questions will repeat then now I’ve faced so many different and interesting topics and I’ve really enjoyed every interview.

I’m driving to Swindon to stay there for the night and I’m having early start tomorrow morning at BBC Swindon. So have a good sleep and talk to you tomorrow.

With love… always,

Hannah

Hi,

I arrived to London yesterday evening and had a six our drive to Glasgow, Scotland. We reached to the hotel in the middle of the night and had a quite early start this morning. So what happened today?

First, on 11.20 live interview with Dave Marshall at Smooth Radio, Glasgow. It was an interesting one, I was little concerned about Scottish accent but it turned out very well. We talked about single You Are, my music and Estonians musical history and background. Pop Idols we’re mentioned, as we had them in first time in Estonia and it’s been huge interest. We’re going through the final at the moment – so there’s going to be one big superstar soon – watch out! We’re also talked about my personal favorites and as we have lots of driving this time, I took couple of CD with me to the car – Killer’s and Travis last CD-s. And they are awesome! Funny enough, I mentioned Travis as one of my favorites in the Smooth radio show and later I realized that Travis is from Scotland. Anyway, one sweet picture with Dave:

Next we drove through the Scotland and I absolutely adore this country! My God, what a nature! It has been always my dream to go to Scotland and Ireland, so now the first one is done but I definitely want to go back to spend more time there. I figure out that there‘s around 5 million people in Scotland and around 11 million sheep's in Scotland. Sheep's were everywhere and they are so lovely. I just love them. And I can tell you – those sheep's looked very happy and relaxed, enjoying the perfect view’s – beautiful Scottish mountains.

We arrived to Newcastle, had a little tour to get to know this city. I saw the famous Newcastle Stadium and Gateshead Millenium Bridge with the huge concert-hall. Newcastle has lots of beautiful and old houses, so it’s definitely worth to come here and discover this town.

On 15.00 I had an interview with Alan Simpson at BBC Ulster and after that pre-recorded interview with Sue Marchant at BBC Cambridge. We chat about music and some other great topics like animals and gardening etc. It turned out that Alan is also a great cat lover and he has been in Estonia, so it was amazing chat about his favorite restaurant in Tallinn – Balthasar, the garlic-restaurant and he’s experiences with garlic soup - so our conversation lasted long after the interview, which was really great. Thank you, Alan!

Sue from BBC Cambridge was really supportive, she had played the song You Are before and she liked it – so it’s easy to talk with somebody who already knows a bit about you. And Sue – you’re going to be among the first one on the list when we’re having my next concert in UK. You can count on it!

OK, and the last but not least important interview with Alan Robson at Metro FM. Wow, what a character!

My team warned me before, that he can be difficult to handle because he likes tricky questions but I find it very fascinating and I really enjoyed the interview. We talked about angels and ghosts and about my worst experience in hospital, difference about UK and France music market and so on. Anyway, the interview is online tomorrow evening, if you have a chance to listen. Thank you, Alan; it was lovely to meet you! Here we are in Metro FM studio:

And now comes the strangest part of the day. After successful day we went to one restaurant in Newcastle called Living-room and had a beer with my team. So the waitress came and recommended one very good beer called Viru. From Estonia. Can you imagine! We are in the middle of the England, there’s a hundred’s of restaurants and pub’s and we managed to pick up the one where they serving Estonian beer. I felt very proud about it! And you can’t imagine how the waitress face looked like when we told him that we are from Estonia.

Anyway, as you know – everything happens for the reason. Don’t ever forget that…

I’m driving to Sheffield and find out that the best place for blogging is back seat of the car. You can perfectly collect your day’s emotions together and going everything through again. And with you guys it is such a pleasure for me. I have an early start tomorrow at BBC Sheffield; I will speak with you soon.

With joy and love,
Hannah

Hello,

So here we are again after a little while. I had a wonderful few days in Cannes during the Film Festival, which was this year the 60th anniversary year and had a great amount of people. The weather was just lovely, as always, I must say. I had a great event one evening with Handmade Films, a beautiful set-up along the beach.
Anyway, I flight back to Tallinn for couple of days to make a little preparation for UK radio-tour. I also have had taking care of my fans letter, my myspace have gone quite busy lately. So it’s all done now.
The digital release for You Are is 28th May; song is also appeared on VH1 and MTV – which is really great news for me, because I can now say that I’m the first Estonian artist who’s been in VH1! And for me it’s big step! I want to thank everybody who’s being so supportive with my things – my team, my fans… there’s going to be many great news during next weeks… so let’s just keep in touch!

Lots of love,
Hannah

On 9th May 2007 An Evening with Hannah, at the Lansdowne Club, London - sounds awesome!
I really looked forward to this evening and I must say, I felt quite nervous before the concert. But several people have told me, that you must be at least a little nervous, this is a good sign, because it means that you are emotionally very involved with what you're doing, I am for sure!
After a beautiful speech was made by Sir Dai Llewellyn who was also the announcer for the evening, I performed. Here I am with Dai:

Complete silence at the ballroom showed that people really liked the concert. And after the performance emotions we're truly high!

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, I certainly did and I want to thank everyone for this lovely evening!

I'm going back to Tallinn tonight to celebrate my birthday on Saturday. I'll let you know, how this went...

Lots of love,

Hey,

So I'm back in London and it's Saturday afternoon. I had really great time this morning as I was invited as a guest to Saturday Breakfast with Jo Anne Good on BBC Radio London. This is the popular show, on air from 06.00 - 09.00, provides the best in entertainment and news on Saturday mornings. I was on-air for 20 minutes, giving an interview and performing two songs live. I was very lucky to have the most beautiful black piano at the studio - thanks to Blüthners Piano store - again! So here we are:

And now I'm just enjoying a few totally free days in London and preparing for Wednesday's concert.

Hi,

It’s always difficult to start the blog with the right line… it’s like writing the first line of the song or letter, so you really searching the suitable words or sentence…“ I’m sitting here… „ or „ it’s

So I start with – „many things has been going on lately and I’ll try to give you overview about what I’ve been doing during the April and early May“.

After London’s video shoot I went back to Tallinn to spent an Easter holiday with my family. I also did the traditional easter food called

pasha to keep the traditions going. I think what happens in the world right now is a little bit scary. In one hand it’s nice that people travel and move and can live where they like to live and can marry who ever they like. But in the other hand many cultures and traditions will be mixed and traditions will very often been lost, because people don’t know anymore which tradition to follow… Well of course strong families has their habits and their traditions and I think we really need them and I think children need them even more – so please don’t let your family traditions to disappear!

So anyway the early summer arrived also to Estonia at the beginning of the April but unfortunately only for one week. So I decided to change my location for warmer place and flight over to Cannes. And I must say it was really good decision because there I was – in the middle of the 25 degrees and total sunshine. Well the problem with people who had born in cold northern country like Estonia is that they don’t understand why you have to use sun protection creams. Quite same happened to me, because I had to catch as much sun as possible and got quite burned. But I was happy!

It’s funny to follow different ways of living – in London, everybody are so busy all the time, in Tallinn – everything is so quiet all the time, in Cannes – everybody are so relax and enjoy the life. I love one little restaurant at the port of the Mandelieu de Napoule called La Brocherie. There is one gentleman who works there and he’s so funny – he just can’t stand people who leave something on the plate. So he keeps ignoring you until you’ve been eating everything and your plate is totally empty. And food there is really good – well I must say - Frenchman knows everything about the food.
Anyway I flight over to London yesterday’s evening to do radio shows and showcases in England. It’s all very exciting! I’m going to Manchester to have a showcase on Thursday evening and radio show at BBC Manchester on Friday morning. I let you know what's happening!

Love and kisses,

Hannah

Hi,

It’s Thursday, April 5th and we arrived to the video shoot location at 8 o’clock this morning after breakfast. The place was beautiful and had a lush green terrace outside - most unusual for a property right in the centre of London. We were grateful to the gods for being blessed with sunny, clear and warm weather.

After spending two hours with my stylist Natalie and hair/make-up artist Sarita, we started the first scene - me with the piano, singing to my partner who is workaholic.

The story of You Are is actually about life and relationships between people. It’s about a young and happy couple who had been very successful in their life but have sacrificed their relationship as a result and grown apart. It’s a story about how our society creates people who hide their feelings. It’s about a man, who wants to be strong and doesn't want to show his weaker side. It’s about a man whose top priority is his work and has forgotten everything else.

You Are gives very truthful picture of today’s society, where the only way to get somebody’s attention is through the internet. How much time do we spend online? How many hours do we speak on phone? How much time do we spend watching TV? And, most importantly, how much time do we spend with people we care about? I mean really quality time together? Should we care about other people's feelings and show our own? It’s like a picture you often see at restaurants - a couple eat together but both are on the phone at the same time…

There are people who realise that the developments in technology make life easier but know how to draw the line between work and family life. But there's also people for whom it's too late. In my video – You Are – everything is on the edge…

So that’s the story.

But the most enjoyable for me was making the video with my team. I’m truly lucky to have such a professionals around me! I want to thank everyone, specially my directors Crispin Buxton and Ben Cole, my partner Oscar Humphries, my hair and make-up artist Sarita, stylist Nathalie, my team in Snowdog Records – Steve, Ander and Brian, also video shooting team – Colin, Kyle, Lizzy, Emily, Dominic, Ewan, Tony, Giulia, Diana, Mark and everyone I didn’t mentioned by name, but who gave their best to make that day so special for me. Thank you!

Love,

Hannah

Hi,

Today‘s aim is to film some happy memory shots for the video with Oscar, who is my partner in video. At the same time we’re shooting a little documentary material of my life and my visit to London. It’s called an “EPK” and it’s basically a 15 minute short documentary movie. For that, we drove all over London.
Compared to yesterday, today was freezing outside and our shooting day was quite short, but I’m happy with the result and hope my directors Crispin Buxton and Ben Cole are also pleased.
Here’s one picture with Oscar, it's taken at Portobello road:

Tonight I’m giving a little concert for radio and tv-people, hope it’s going to be a lovely evening!

Catch you later…

Hey,

After a lovely sunny week in Tallinn I arrived in London on 1st April in the evening to shoot my first International video called “You Are“.
Monday was the most beautiful weather in London, lots of sun and amazingly warm. I had time to rest and prepare myself for the next few busy days. I stayed at a lovely hotel in Notting Hill and I finally realized that Notting Hill is probably my favorite part of London.
Funnily enough, the same evening my good friend Sir Dai Llewellyn held his birthday at the same hotel and I had a chance to sing a few songs to him and his guests. One of the guests was former England footballer, Paul Gascoigne! The culmination of the evening was when Gazza rushed up to his hotel room to fetch a large pair of football shorts as a gift and signing them: “To Dai, Happy Birthday, love Gazza.”

Anyway, it was a great pleasure to meet my friends and so many interesting people.
So, looking forward to tomorrow’s videoshoot!

Lots of love,
Hannah

Summary of the year 2006

2006 was an extremely interesting year. I did a lot of work and the results will come this year – so it was preparation for 2007. I met so many interesting people who have given me enormous ideas and joy and I’m so glad that I had the chance to work with them all.

At the beginning of last year I met (again over many years) my good friend and my guiding light Krista who is a reflexologist and who has changed my life so much. Thanks to her I’ve understood many thing in life and she opened my eyes to see things differently. I feel that I have a mission to give energy to people and to teach them how to find support from angels.

January until April was a very creative time when I wrote many new great songs and after meeting Brian in June, the decision was clear – July and August will be busy in the studio.

The next person I met was James McMillan who has a great talent as a producer and songwriter and who is, as a person, quite difficult to handle (as I have heard). But, funny enough, we made a perfect match and I’m very proud with the result of our work together.

However, I'm happy that I've had a chance to spend enough time in my second home in Cannes. This is a perfect place to relax.

Well, the record is almost finished and I had a successful photo-session in London and life brought to me another great man – photographer Simon Fowler.

I really admire his way of working!

And until October it has been preparation time for album launch. I had lots of meetings with promotional people and we searched the best way to release the album. As the record-market has changed so much, we felt, that it’s better to do everything right and not to rush. I am very happy that I’m involved with the preparations and so called back-stage things, because then I can really but my heart into that project and I think it is the most important thing if you want to be an artist who touches listener’s soul. I also see how much my team has done for me and I really appreciate that.

In me personal life there was one very sad day for me in October. One of my sweet cats went to heaven. For his memorialize, I light a candle…

But, as I already know – everything in this life has a reason and I also know that his soul came back to me because at 26th of October my brother and his wife got a child – a sweetest little boy I have ever seen. He has been my real sunshine! Little Martin.

Generally the year ended very well with lovely Christmas time with my family and great New Years Evening with my best friends. And I did my 10 wishes for the next year and hope that the year 2007 is going to be perfect for my family, friends, and my fans, my sweet little pets and for myself.

With love,

Hannah

Hi,

Thank you guys in Modera, you've done a great job!

As you can already see the new design for my website is finished and if you have any comments about it, I’m pleased to hear your opinion.

More about recent news – last year brought me record deal with label called Snowdog Records and I also met my wonderful manager Brian Yates.

Snowdog Records official website - www.snowdogrecords.com

Snowdog has also signed the band Thief, who's official website is - www.thiefweb.com

Thief was formed in November 2004 when members from once rivaling bands started jamming and the realization that playing as a band was the musical output they were looking for. Thief distinguishes itself from other contemporary rock bands through the varied musical background of the band which encompasses jazz to metal. This creates a unique musical space and sound.

Thief have finished their first album with the great producer Kipper and I had a chance to visit them at the studio. Here’s one picture with Thief, Kipper and myself:

In my next blog I would really want to make a little summary about year 2006. So don’t go too far!

Hi,

It’s a busy time, like always...
Time is just running on and days become shorter and shorter.
Many interesting things have happened since I wrote to you last time.
Well, as you already know, I finished my album recording in the studio with producer James Mcmillan and now the album is being mixed by Brad Gilderman in Los Angeles. Here’s a photo with James in the studio:

Well, after that I went to London and had a very successful photo shoot with photographer Simon Fowler. He’s such a nice person to work with! Here we are:

I want to thank Marina and Brandon who were responsible for style, hair and make-up, it was a pleasure to spend this day together. And Marina, the flowers you gave me, they were so beautiful and I brought them back to Estonia, although I was quite troubled at the airport because of the water inside of the bouquet. Anyway, I was safe together with the flowers and they lasted so long.

Meanwhile, we stayed at the lovely hotel, Cannizaro House. It is an amazing manor house with huge and most beautiful park. And why is this place so special for me? Because of the squirrels! And they are so domesticated that you can feed them. Last time I brought some tasteful Estonian nuts with me and I was the absolute favorite of the squirrels! Here's one photo with them:

Well, anyway there has been a lot of traveling lately, meeting new people, working also on the visual side of the album and so on. In my next blog I’d like to introduce you one new band and give you little Cook’s tour what they are doing.

It’s snowing outside – can you imagine!

November is a time to think about those who are not with us anymore.

So I light a candle every evening and I hope you will do the same thing tonight…

With love,

Hi guys,

It’s a beautiful autumn evening and it still so tenderly warm. It has been amazing summer this year and I really don’t understand those people who always complaining about something – whether it’s too hot or too cold. This summer was super and gave me energy for all the winter. I’m at home now, sitting next to my computer and collecting all the memories of that summer. Writing with computer is not my favorite thing, because I love handwriting and that’s why I would like to send you all a real letter by post – well, that would be of course quite difficult, but you never know – I might do it one day when I have figured out of your home addresses.

Well, it’s been busy time and I feel very bad that I have lay you aside. It doesn’t mean that I don’t think about you. I really do.

The summer actually started for me with my birthday in May, which was magnificent evening with my best friends and my family. I ordered a big pavilion and we had a perfect barbecue party in my lovely garden. Then, later in May I traveled to Cannes and had there an interesting photo shooting. We spent five days with the photographer of making different picks. We found a great observation platform on the seacoast where you got the feeling that you hold whole world in your hand. Then second day we took photos on the beach, there where a huge rocks and I had to lie on my back on them which wasn’t so pleasant because they were very acute. But ok, I handled it extremely well – at least I think so. I also want to apologize in front of the nameless fisherman who felt probably little frustrated because of the noise what we made. I’m sure that scared all fish away… sorry.

Then we had beautiful series of photos at the seaport, where I felt myself with a lovely white dress like a bride who’s waiting for the groom. And a little friendly white dog wanted also to be on the picture and so he did. In short – this place – Cannes – is really made for feeling good about you. You will find some of those pictures in my gallery, I hope tomorrow...

In July – I prepared myself to start working with the new material, so I spent this month at home - singing, writing and choosing songs for the new album. My manager, Brian and producer James came over to Tallinn and we made a final decision with them. I felt very excited and I couldn’t wait for August to start recording.

Meanwhile, I had a lot to do with my dogs, because summer is a perfect time to visit different dog show’s – which we did and it all ended with Estonian Champion title for my oldest dog – Akira and many other important awards for my youngest one – Yoko. And I feel myself crazy – because I’m not actually so “dog person”, but in November I’m going to Poland to the World Winner Dog Show 2006 with them– which is the biggest show every year. So let’s see. Keep your fingers crossed!

Before going to the studio in August, I did a nice trip to France with my friends. We relaxed a bit, just had a great time in nice restaurants and so on…

And finally August arrived and lots of work in studio, what I really love. It is difficult to describe the whole situation because your emotions are so high. I wanted to share my feelings with you, but every evening we finished in studio and I got home, I just fall into bed. I was dog-tired. Anyway, it’s so great to work with real professionals who understand your music exactly like you do. Some of the songs have the most wonderful string arrangements from Peter Murray and also the most talented Estonian arranger Tõnu Kõrvits did beautiful arrangements for strings. And can you imagine, the last day in studio – I felt so sad, because “all of this hard work was over” – but for me it wasn’t work, it was something that gives you hope and power and energy and inspiration to create new songs.

I have many things more to tell you but I really have to go to sleep now…

Sweet dreams and love;

I’m so happy to announce that my new album is almost ready. It has been very busy the last few months so I hope you forgive me that I haven’t been around here. Anyway, we started with an album in July choosing songs and we spent half of August in the studio with my producer James Mcmillan. It was a real pleasure to work with him! He has been Grammy Award nominee in vocal category which means that he watched out for specially the vocal parts of the album.

The new album will comprised of twelve songs, the style is pop/rock and also accompanied by orchestra. The album will be released in early 2007. I just can't wait for the release and I hope that you’ll love the new material.

In June there was the International Dog Show “Baltic Winner 2006” in

Estonia. Both my dogs were presented and behaved really well. They did some hard training with their handler when I was in

France and I saw remarkable achievements. They love viewing audience and I felt so proud when I was standing there and watching their performance. And results were incredible – my youngest one – Akari Jidai Miryoku Joo, or like we call her – Yoko got three awards:

The most important one -

	Baltic Junior Winner 2006!

	Best Junior of Opposite Sex

	Junior Certificate

What can I say… well done!

And let's not forget my American Akita - Akira San DDA, who's performance was also excellent, but he just wasn't judge favorite this time. Look at his stance!

I found an amazing little fruit boutique close to Cannes, place called Mandelieu de la Napoule. The lady, who is probably the owner of the shop, has a really nice way of presenting the products. Everything was placed so correctly and beautifully that you didn’t want to touch anything. This shop became my favorite one in Mandelieu and after that experience is quite hard to go to the supermarket and buy fruits.

It was really one of the most beautiful days in my life.My family woke me up with singing – this is my family tradition, then I had a little coffee and cake with my friends at my work place and at the evening all my friends came to my place and we had a huge barbecue party. And at night we lit candles and flambeaus, it was such a warm evening. The main topic in the day was shortage of vases. I haven’t had so many roses in my life – it was really crazy!

Anyway – this day is over now but the memory of that day will stay with me for a very long time.

I have just enjoyed this beautiful weather and gardened all weekend. As you already know about my dogs and how big and sweet they are they also like to dig over my garden – so there is enough work to repair for every weekend.

I plant some leek and dill, basil and lettuce – I like all the green things and usually I buy them from the store - so planting them was a new experience for me.

I have also created some new songs and hope to surprise you with my new material very soon.

We drove through Sweden and Denmark and spent the first night in Hamburg. We even got lost once, but I think it was actually luck, because when we found the right road again, there was a huge accident on the highway and luckily we were not there at the right time.

So we continued our trip the next morning and passed through Austria, Switzerland, Italy and finally arrived in France after twenty two hours drive.

I spent my next days in the furniture shops because we had to decorate our summerhouse there. I really love the South of France and the people there – they are so relaxed and happy!

I'm going to the South of France tomorrow and I am really hoping that the weather will be better than it is in Estonia. How is the situation in Germany? Is it possible to drive safely and not get any water inside the car?

So I'll keep in touch with you and let you know when I'm in Cannes.
