Hello everyone!
I can't believe it's February already. I hope you're having a lovely year so far and it's not too cold wherever you are. I thought I'd drop you a little note to let you know what I've been up to.
Back To School
Last year, I had the most exciting experience going on the road for six weeks to visit schools up and down the UK. I went to nearly 50 schools and ended up signing 26,745 fan cards! My hand still hurts!
Since finishing the tour I've recieved 2000 letters from new listeners and fans and am so excited to have met so many new people. It really made me so happy. As you know there was a competition going on for everyone I met on the tour who registered through my website - www.hannahsite.com- and I'm more than happy to announce that the winners have been chosen. As there were so many beautiful messages and letters, I've decided to give away extra packages for each school containing personally signed CD’s and singles, posters and other exclusive goodies! Let It Snow
I know you've been having more snow than normal in the UK, but back home in Estonia there was even more. I went back home for Christmas and New Year to see my family and take a rest from the hectic London lifestyle. I had a lovely time with my beautiful akita dogs and three sweet cats. I also had cause to celebrate on 1st Feb as one of my dogs, Yoko, delivered eight puppies exactly a year ago and we had a birthday celebration with all of their new owners.
It's been constantly snowing in Estonia and it was even -30 degrees in January. I did lots of skiing and had a brilliant time.
Billboard
We received the most amazing news that my music is not only popular in UK, but that America are loving it too. 'Keeping Score' has been climbing high on the U.S Billboard Dance Chart and is currently sat at #14 this week. It's a great surprise and has kept me very busy, but very inspired! For those of you that don’t know the Billboard Dance chart is a weekly national survey of the songs that are most popular in U.S. dance clubs so its all very exciting!
Looking ahead
I'm very excited about releasing my new album in 2010. I've been working on it for a good while now and I'm doing some last bits of writing before we release it. I've already planned the next single and heard some amazing remixes. On the fashion side, I'm also making a new gloves collection for spring/summer 2010.
